We are beyond impressed with CountrySide Lakes. The thing that got our attention first is that when you walk into the building, it always feels like there's a bit of a celebration happening. There are always people milling around, sitting in the chairs, and walking around. It feels like a very active community. They've always got music playing in the lobby. There's always somebody at the desk. There are two people, Peter and Janet, whom we've had the most amazing experience with. They've helped us for hours. They helped us get all signed up. My grandfather was very hard of hearing and it was difficult to explain things to him, and they met with him several times and went above and beyond. Then when my nana and my grandfather moved in, they had a very nice care package and people stopped by to see if we needed anything on the first day. My nana is in assisted care and she had to push her button to help get them to dinner and get them back and they are the most responsive. They come immediately. She doesn't have to wait. Their dining service is fast. The food is fantastic and they've got so many options. It's like a five-star hotel. They never make you or any of us ever feel like we are asking too much or we are a burden. We just cannot be more impressed with this facility. The meals are wonderful. The staff is fantastic. I think that they care. They are never a number to them. They know exactly who they are. They know every person that they pass. They'll call them by name and say hi, good morning, how are you doing? They know everybody's life story. They are just unbelievable. They are treating them like family. We have all their cell phone numbers and we can just text them and say "Hey, can you come here? We need this for help." So, they're always there. They have a pool and walking trails around their lake so your views are just gorgeous, but you're still in the heart of the city. You're near to everything, which is so unique. They have mini golf, a pool table in the lounge, and a happy hour bar. They also have the lobby and the atrium with tall, beautiful windows so you can sit inside, but still see all the landscape. They have a library, an arts and crafts room, an exercise room, and a salon. Even on their second day there, the salon woman was there and fit them into the day. So, they both got their hair cut and styled the first day they were there. It's not just for show. They use their things. They don't just have them.

I love CountrySide Lakes. I love the apartment and the people are very, very nice. The staff are unbelievable. The food is good. We have activities and everything. I haven't been in another home. I've looked before, but this one, I liked the apartment the best when I saw it and I wanted a full kitchen, which they have. They take us to stores like Publix and Wal-Mart every week. Alternately, they take us to do our nails, shop at different stores, and go to different restaurants to eat so we can get out. The food is good here, but once in a while, you want to go to a restaurant. They take you to your appointments and your doctors. We play games here. We play cards, we have exercise, we have Taichi, and cornhole. There's not enough time in the day to do everything they provide here. So, I'm very happy. We have a beauty shop. We have services on Sunday for people who cannot get to their own church. We have people playing music from outside almost four days out of the week. We play Family Feud and twice a week we have cocktail hour on Wednesdays and Fridays. Anytime you don't like what they have for the meals, like the specials of the day, you have an a la carte menu. You can order anything you want. There are hamburgers, hot dogs, chicken salads, and chef's salads. Anything you want. So, you're not limited to what they offer for the day. At dinner time, you can ask them for scrambled eggs and bacon, and they'll do it for you. We have a maid service every week. They do your laundry, they do your bed, and they clean everything, even your porch. Once a month, every floor gets cleaned like the hallways and the carpets. There's not a speck of any little paper. The bathrooms are very clean. I also play darts twice a week. I like the grounds. They have walkways around the building and that's beautiful because you can walk around and the views from almost all the apartments are the woods in the back and you have a view of a lake. So, the views are beautiful. I love it.

What I liked the best about CountrySide Lakes was that it included everything: including transportation, meals, and a medical alert if you needed it. They also have a pool and a beauty salon, but the facility only offered one room that was not even affordable. The one-bedroom was almost $4,000 and my budget is $2413. I did not get this information until halfway through the tour, but the lady that gave us the tour followed us the entire time we were there. Even after we ate, she followed up to find out how the food was. Even though she knew that I couldn't afford it, she followed us right to the end to see if there was anything that could be done otherwise or any kind of assistance.

We liked everything about CountrySide Lakes. It was on the old side, but the individual apartments were very nice, well-kept, and very up-to-date. We saw the activity room and the dining room. They were a little bit on the small side, but adequate. We saw a group getting together in a common room for trivia. It had everything that I would want.

I got to visit CountrySide Lakes and I loved it. The room was like an apartment, and each apartment had an outdoor porch area, which is phenomenal. It was small but it's more like a full-size apartment with an actual separate bedroom area, and a full kitchenette. They had everything and I liked them. They have a pool area, and a big dining room, it's bigger than the other place I toured, they had everything, a walking trail, and all kinds of stuff. We were offered to have a meal, and people were eating, but we couldn't because we were on schedule. The staff was excellent, they were very friendly, and we met a lot of people. They had a huge craft room and an unbelievable coffee section, and everything was nice.

CountrySide Lakes was very clean and neat. The tour was organized. It was very good. They have a small refrigerator, a stove, and a sink area in the apartment. So you could make your own little snack if you wanted to. The staff was very knowledgeable and friendly. They had a pool.

I'm planning to choose CountrySide Lakes for my aunt. It has every bit of care that I could not give her at home. It still allows her to have her independence. This way I feel secure that she has people around her all the time. She fell in love with the place. We got great recommendations from a lot of friends of ours who have loved ones or friends that live there. It just fit every little criteria that we were looking for. The rooms are very nice. They look like an apartment, and they don't look institutionalized (which was really nice). She can make it her own living space. I like the fact that it had a separate kitchen, so she can cook. She can also go to the dining room if she wants to. She can call and have her meals brought to her if she wants to. It gives her choices. They have everything that she likes like bingo, dominoes, and card games. They have a huge swimming pool that's right in front of her apartment. She has her own patio so she can watch the activities outside if she wants or just sit and relax. They've got everything you can think of. They're clean. They're neat. There's no odor anywhere. The staff was all very welcoming. She's excited about moving in. We've also tried a meal, and it was very good.

My dad will be moving to CountrySide Lakes which was very nice and very accommodating. We went on an unannounced visit but they made time for us, and everyone was very nice and personable. We had visited other places, and they were not quite as welcoming as far as the residents go. The residents are what made it, in my opinion. Everyone was friendly, open, and talked to us, they were very positive and just overall pleasant to be around. The food was excellent. They had a great choice and if you didn't want what was on the menu, they would make what you wanted. The rooms all had their own balconies, it was very well kept up, and the common areas were very clean. They were in the process of redoing the carpet, so everything was up to par. We've observed them doing several activities. We saw them playing bingo, they were having happy hour, and there was a group going out to lunch that they took. We missed the ax throwing, so we were bummed about that one, I wanted to see that. It's a beautiful facility with a lake and walking trails, and a swimming pool.

My dad chose CountrySide Lakes. The people were very sweet to him. There was quite a bit of activity among the residents there, where in other places we didn't see the residents too much. We went at different times during the day and every time we went to CountrySide Lakes, there were always residents throughout the outside. When we walked in, they were in the common areas. I'm sure there were some still in their in their apartments, but we saw a lot of people out, milling around, visiting with each other. They interacted with the staff. I think Peter did a fantastic job. My dad liked the food. It is an older building, but it is clean. It's being updated. The grounds themselves are well-kept. It seemed clean in there, I saw them painting, I saw them cleaning. I saw them interacting with the people. They had all of their COVID things in place.

We went to CountrySide Lakes, we had an appointment but they said they can't show any models because they're having COVID testing in the rooms they had set aside. We just looked around the place and it was kind of old. They had old gas ranges and old refrigerators. The area looked nice though with a lake and dog walking area. The visit was kind of short. We just walked around and the building was kind of older than the other ones we saw. It has aged a little bit although it's nice. We saw the independent living side. We looked at their dining area and the menu and they were pretty good.

CountrySide Lakes was a very family-oriented home. It had more sense of community than being in any kind of care facility. They were like a family, a lot of people were out doing things, they were engaged and very friendly, and called people by name. The staff members who gave the tour were very cordial, very polite, and very accommodating to the requests that I saw coming in from people inside. This place is a combination of assisted and independent care. One of the advantages that I saw about this place is if you go from independent care to assisted living, you don't move your room or you don't move buildings, so you stay in place. I think my mom would appreciate that. It's a multiple-story building with an elevator in a centralized location. Then you have branches that come off of the center of the elevator, where they have a doctor's office in the middle, they have a beauty shop there, and they have an open atrium area right there on the top. The rooms branch off in either direction. Some rooms have views of the water because it's surrounded by two lakes. The people in the room they showed us have been there for a very long time, and it has not been modernized, unlike the one that they showed us originally. The facilities were very nice, but the rooms have the same individuals and have been around for a long time so it's dating. They have activities like bingo and live entertainment pretty much every day. You have to add in the cost for the assisted living care, where a lot of places kind of have the independent living and assisted living prices that are the same. They have kind of an ala carte arrangement.

CountrySide Lakes is centrally located in a beautiful setting. The apartments are beautiful. One of my brother's favorite things is the live music every day. They offer three meals plus happy hour. The staff is nice, wonderful, and always willing to help and answer questions. They've been great. They have a physical therapy room, exercise room, billiards, darts, and pool. There's certainly no lack of things to do. Once a month they do a chef's table with a 10-course meal, and it was amazing. It's expensive, but I think it's worth every penny. Every apartment has a really nice, little screened-in patio area. The facility is on six acres with trees, lakes, and walking paths.

There’s a bunch of things I like about Countryside Lake. I like the size of it, the fact that they met our needs and what we were looking for, and the location since it is close to places like the church and me. We were waiting on a waiting list, so we really haven't met the staff, except for the people that took us on a tour who were very nice. The size of the room is fine. I think they have a lot of activities. It’s a small facility, which is just what we wanted.

Countryside Lakes was another facility that was beautiful, but my mother doesn't have enough money for it. Nevertheless, I like Countryside Lakes very much. It seemed very clean. They were very helpful. I was impressed with this facility because the room was very nice. They also have latches on the door to where as the door opens, the latch bends and they know that they're not in their room at the time. They would check on them to make sure they're OK, so I thought that was a really nice feature.

Countryside Lakes was a big facility. The building and the surroundings were nice. It was lunchtime, but I didn't see a lot of seniors going around like I do with the other facilities I go to. The room I saw looked nice, and it was good for one person or a husband and wife. The grounds also looked nice. They had a lot of room to do stuff, but I never saw seniors out; it could've been the time of day.

We visited Countryside Lakes. The place was clean, and the people were friendly. It was small, and we were impressed by it. We had lunch there, and the food was good. Everybody was very nice, helpful, and friendly. They showed us a room, and they were small. I think no matter where you go, the rooms weren't going to be very large, but everything was absolutely clean. The people living there were friendly, and they were laughing; I didn't find anybody with a frown on their face.

The staff of Countryside Lakes was very friendly. I would say it was a five-star place. The only thing I did not like was the way they handled the drugs. That was my only drawback on that place, but otherwise it was beautiful. The dining was good, the food was excellent, and the people were friendly -- they knew all the residents by name. It just was really a nice place. The apartments were beautiful. They have a billiard room, and they have Bingo, movies, church, outings to the shopping center, and certain days that they would take them to their doctors. They had a lot of activities there. What impressed me most was the hominess of it. It was very homey; you went to the dining room, there was a tablecloth just like you would have at home, the food was good, and the service was friendly -- it was just very homey. And the apartment was small, but nice enough to fit your needs and not to get lost.

We placed my mom's friend in Countryside Lakes. It is an assisted living facility. It is homey, friendly and clean. It has just been updated. Going into their dining room was like going to a restaurant. I didn't feel like I was going into an assisted living facility dining room. They also serve great food. This facility also has lots of activities for their residents. With regards to their staff, from the girls in the administration to the wait staff and the aides, they are all very good. They are very qualified for their jobs. Overall, it has been a really good experience.

Countryside Lakes took my breath away. It was like a little apartment and not just a room. It has 574 square feet. Every apartment had a balcony. It had heater and cooler. It had amenities and I was impressed with it. They had an all-in exclusive apartment complex, which they turned into assisted living. All these people who are still capable of walking in a walker; in a wheelchair or walking on their own could go down in the dining room at night and have dinner.

I am presently staying at Countryside Lakes. It is excellent. The people are wonderful. The apartment itself is lovely. I like that it has a screen-in balcony and a whole lot of windows at the end the living room. The food is outstanding. We have all kinds of activities here depending on what the residents are interested in. We have bingo, concerts, piano and organ people who come in and play, have different games and movies every night. I am really please with them and I am recommending them to others.

My mom was at Countryside Lakes for a time. I really liked the staff because they came in to check the residents every two hours. They also took out trash or dirty bedpans in those two hours. They also seemed to have a variety of activities. The food was very delicious. She was in a two bedroom apartment together with my dad before he passed away.
