My friend seems very happy at Meridian at Lantana. He's adjusting well and the staff is very, very nice, and the food is wonderful. He has a full bedroom with a full living room and a kitchen without a stove, which is good. So far I have no complaints. I am so happy that he is there. Everybody's very friendly. The people sit with other people, which is good, and he has a regular menu. If he doesn't like whatever the food is, he can order off a menu. The only problem I had was I couldn't find the maintenance man for adjustment when we first moved in. We had trouble with that and couldn't get the WiFi, and then the back of the bed had to be screwed into the bed, and the second TV didn't work, because we didn't have a proper remote control. Then when we got it, it took time. That's the only minor problem. The staff is excellent. They are very nice. They all know his name by now, and they talk to him by his name. I would like to see more things for men though. I told them the truth about his income, and they gave him a place for that income. So I was honest, and they were honest, too.

I went to Meridian At Lantana. It's an older building that had been redone. The apartments were nice. My negative part about them is that they only had a dinette, they didn't have a kitchen, and you really couldn't do your own cooking at all. They provide three meals a day, but that was one of the negatives. And their rent was higher. The staff I met there were very nice. I even talked to the chefs. They were good.

We didn't like Meridian At Lantana at all. It was just not for us; I did not like it. There was no kitchen in the unit. The staff who gave the tour was very nice, but the residents were out in the open area sleeping on a sofa when they should have been in their apartments. We did not care for that place. I was not impressed at all, and nor was my husband. We were not impressed by anything there.

Meridian At Lantana was very clean. It was very clean. I thought that the activities that they told me about and the rooms were nice. They were a little modern. I just felt like it was going to be a great place for my person to be. She is going to love it there. The libraries and everything that they had to offer -- the people seemed nice and happy to work there. I thought it was the perfect fit for my person. They had a courtyard. They had a beauty parlor. They had a movie theater and a library. They had a couple of pools. The staff was very nice. They make you comfortable.

We toured Meridian At Lantana. I thought their facilities were really nice and more modern. They were new, and they even told us they renovated last summer. I liked the new facility. I didn't like that the rooms were like a hotel. It didn't open up to the outside. It was more like a hotel. They had a full activity calendar. However, the residents were more in their rooms, and they weren't out mingling and doing activities. They stayed in their apartments more, so there were not very many residents out participating in the activities when we toured. They had a huge dining room. They also had quite a few empty apartments. To me was a sign, 'Why do you have so many empty rooms? Is it because people leave?' They also had the same sort of options for nursing care that the other place had. You could choose from a menu of what things you want to add, but the high staff turnover was a turnoff to me. I thought the staff were very nice, friendly, and helpful. I just thought it was strange that they were all gone. Two weeks ago, someone called me and said that they inherited my file. It was because the staff that I had met at my tour was already gone. However, when we toured, the staff was really friendly, helpful, and answered a lot of questions. The facility is really nice. It is newly painted and has new carpets. However, they had plenty of places inside that were not clean. The carpets had not been vacuumed, and you could see shredded paper and food all over the floor in the dining room.

My sister has moved into Meridian At Lantana. The staff seems to be very caring people. The layout of their rooms is very good. And they seem responsive when issues come up. I haven't tried their food, but my sister has, and the food seems fine. They have multiple areas where activities happen. The physical appearance of the building is pleasant. They have the standard fare of activities. They have bingo and games. People can use the activity room themselves if they just want to put a puzzle together or do something else. Sometimes people just want to have their own card games. It's an old building, and they may need to do some more work on their air conditioning unit. It is clean and other things are kept well, but the air conditioning is going to need to be looked at.

I went to see Meridian At Lantana. The place was very, very nice. It's redone. They give you three meals a day. They have one or two bedrooms that overlook the courtyard, which is nice. The dining room and the library and things like that were very, very nice. They have studios, one bedrooms, and two bedrooms, and they have a restaurant. I like that it's restaurant-style service. They have personal laundry and housekeeping services. They have two-bedroom apartments with very nice balconies with sliding doors. They have 24-hour staff onsite and it also includes maintenance. There are a lot of things that I like. I'm going to look at a few others but I want to go back there and have one more look. They have a refrigerator, a stove, and a microwave in the units. They have housekeeping service once a week, they change your linens and the garbage is picked up daily. It's very nice. They have transportation to wherever you need to go like for shopping or doctor's appointments. The staff who took me around was Shanna. She was very friendly, very knowledgeable, very nice, and easy to talk to. She's very patient with all the people. Overall, I was very satisfied with what I saw and how I was treated. I liked it. I have not tried their food. But the layout of the place was nice, especially the one that I was looking for. The bedrooms are so spacious, and they have two baths. It is very recommendable. Everything is nice and quiet. They have a lot of things if you want to play cards or something, which I'm not interested in. I'm quieter and I stay home. What is also very important to me is that they are pet friendly. They have a pet deposit one-time fee. You can take your little dog or your cat with you or whatever.

I toured Meridian At Lantana. A person can switch from independent living to assisted living and not have to change apartments. It looked like everyone was there on their own. Some people were eating their lunch. They discussed the activities that they have and we saw their activity room. They had a room for card games and board games. My interaction with the staff wasn't as welcoming compared to the other places. Their rooms were adequate for a 1-bedroom. We didn't see a 2-bedroom apartment. The place itself was impeccable and beautiful, but it was not as warm and welcoming. I guess it was the way that they presented themselves, it was not caring. They were not that interested. Overall, the tour experience was cold.

Staff was friendly. Residents seemed happy that were seen in the hall. Beautiful courtyard to sit and enjoy the outside. Big dining room and the food is tasty. There were two pools for the residents to enjoy. This facility is nice because it offers independent, AL and memory care. The rooms were more spacious than expected. There is a calendar for events for the month. The staff seems to really care for the residents. Memory care even has it’s own courtyard.

I visited this facility. Ken gave us a tour, everyone was very welcoming. We absolutely loved the food! They have a ton of events happening, and their fall decorations were so cute! I loved that they had photos of the residents in the front by the mail boxes! I could totally see my mom here!

Meridian at Lantana wasn't for me. I just turned 60. The average age is 77. The food was good. The people were nice. The place itself wasn't very nice. They're having a lot of turnover, so that doesn't look good. The staff was very nice. There wasn't enough to do, and they have just gotten an activities director. They have what they call a salon, they have a courtyard, a little pool, an activities room, and a pub. The place was filthy, it was dirty. I went into the bathroom, there was urine all over the floor, and it looked like it hadn't been cleaned in two weeks

My mother stayed at Meridian At Lantana. It was a well-run facility. It was clean, it was neat, and the staff was good. She left about a year ago. She liked it there. It was clean and orderly. It was fine. I thought their food was fine. My mother always found something wrong with the food, but that's just my mother. The staff were good; they were fine. They had all kinds of activities. My mother didn't participate that much, but they had chair yoga, and they had a lot of entertainment come in for residents. They had good entertainment. She enjoyed that.

We went to see Meridian at Lantana. I know the area and I knew in my mind that it's not a great area. The facility has just been entirely redone, they combine assisted and independent. The renovations are beautiful, but it's very sterile. They did it all in gray, just like a jail, but the area is not a great area. I wouldn't want my father shopping there with the little van. I don't love the area. The apartment was small, it didn't have a screened-in patio, but it's lovely, and they did a beautiful job with the renovations. Where everybody gathers in the front or outside area, they didn't redo that, it was kinda old. We had lunch there, it wasn't bad. If somebody wants independent living, and they need assisted, they wouldn't have to move apartments. The independent and assisted levels are somewhat together, but they have their own dining room for assisted living. Their activities are done together, but there's about 150 independent residents, which is a perfect size for my father. It's pristine, it's impeccable, but the price proves that it's not cheap.

I toured the Meridian At Lantana. The staff seems relatively friendly; although, I didn't interact with them as much as I did at the other place. I liked that they also had rooms on the first floor, so they also had access to the outdoor area. They seem to have activities. They didn't offer religious services at the time. Another negative would be that they're in the process of remodeling. It didn't seem OK. It was also a little deteriorated, but not as bad as the other place I saw. They have to remodel, and I saw that they're in the process of it (which shows the direction is good). They had a hair salon and a pool. They offered exercise classes, but not a gym. They had games and cocktails hours. They also had a pub, but it was in the process of being remodeled.

The rooms are a decent size but they have not been renovated in YEARS. The carpeting in the halls and the main areas are also old and outdated. The turnover of staff is so high that it is difficult to cultivate a relationship with the people who serve you in the dining room and who bring meds every day since they don’t stay very long and often say that they are not happy working for Pacifica. When Pacifica took over Atria, the food took a dramatic turn for the worse and the portions were made smaller, sometime not enough to feed an adult man. They run out of basics, like milk the kitchen staff almost always seems like they would prefer to be anywhere else, but working there. The activities are ok and are well attended like the musical events, painting and flower arranging. There are not enough stair exits or large enough elevators (they only hold 2 wheelchairs or one scooter). There would be a problem if there was a fire. Overall, I would NOT recommend this facility and I would recommend they take a long hard look at overhauling the entire place.

The Meridian At Lantana was our favorite. It was well run and clean. It looks like a nice place to live. They have a very friendly staff. They gave us a menu. They actually gave us a little muffin to take home, which I thought was very nice. The food looked great. It was a great facility. They took temperatures. They wore masks. They were very careful of their residents. There's a very good chance my brother will go there.

I moved into Meridian at Lantana 3 weeks ago. I think it's neat and it's clean. The staff is pretty good. You know in those places, you get some residents that are okay and some that are not just how it is, but overall, it's not bad. I'm in independent living. They offer 3 meals a day. They offer transportation to the supermarket twice a week, and the doctor's appointments and stuff like that. All you gotta do is go to the front desk and sign a book and let the receptionist know what you have to do and they will take care of it. They offer activities for seniors, not for somebody as young as me, but older folks. If you're a veteran, they give you a discount. For a studio, what I have is pretty large. It's got a balcony, a kitchenette, a large bedroom, a handicapped-accessible bathroom, obviously, and it's $2800 a month. They clean your room once a week. They do your laundry once a week. If you're a friendly person, you should go ask the front desk, they'll help you with whatever you need, all you gotta do is ask.

I toured Meridian at Lantana for my wife, and it was very nice. My issue is we're both sixty-nine, and I felt like I would be a bull in a china shop. The thing that I didn't like, and it's nothing personal against them, is you have an apartment, but you aren't allowed to have a stove, a hot plate, or even a toaster oven. I don't have Alzheimer's or anything, and I am capable of using a stove so far, but who knows what will happen down the road. I understand why they would do that, but that was one of the things that totally turned me off to the place. The whole place was nice, and I'm sure it was for the right people. The person who assisted us was very hospitable and very nice. To me, the smallest room was very small; it was maybe 600 square feet. Then she showed us a bigger one, and that would have been adequate. The place was very nice, very clean, and very livable. Our house was 3000 square feet, so to jump down to a little 600-square-foot room without a stove would have been rough, and I just couldn't do it. They don't allow a stove, but you have a little refrigerator and a microwave. I understand that your meals were in the cafeteria. I didn't go into the dining area; I just looked through the window and it was nice. There were activities, but because of COVID it was extremely limited. They had a pool and a big area where you could sit outside, so I'm sure they had a lot of different things. I did notice it was extremely limited, and I understand it was because of COVID, so I never really looked into it that closely. For me personally, because they have no stove, you're not really independent. You're really dependent on their dining area, and you have to eat when they're serving each meal -- breakfast, lunch, and dinner. I didn't eat there, but they gave me a big chocolate-chip cookie just for coming, and they were very good; they're like super excellent. I have a feeling the food was probably very good there.

Meridian at Lantana was very old. The tour was bad. I did not care for it at all. We saw the whole place. It was just one big old facility. The apartments and the rooms are very old. Everything is included. They have housekeeping (and they change the linens), cable, and three meals a day. It was just not what we were looking for.

I'm definitely going into Meridian at Lantana independent living. I was able to visit, and I liked everything about it. They were doing some renovations on the rooms and the pool area. I was able to get a good look at everything, and it's very homey. It looked nice and clean. It wasn't too big, and I didn't want a large place. I was very satisfied with the staff and the people I talked to, so I'm set: this is where I'm definitely going. Because of COVID, their dining area is limited just to residents, so they made me a lovely lunch to-go when I left, and they have a very good chef. When I was there, people were sitting, talking, and walking. They have a lovely courtyard where they could walk around. They also have a lot of activities that are available. The layout of the facility is exactly what I want; I liked that very much. I didn't see all the rooms and everything, but it looked generally clean overall. That's why I decided I'm going there.

I like Meridian at Lantana very much. I saw both assisted living and independent. I was very impressed with it. It's smaller, it's not one of those huge places, but it's very nice. I like the location. I like everything. I like the fact that it's homey and cozy, and not big and impersonal. I like the people there that I met. They're doing major renovations on the rooms, the courtyard, and the pool, and it looks like it's gonna be really beautiful. I didn't see a whole lot of the staff, and with the virus, they're having to cut back on some things. I had lunch at that time, and they had a very good chef.

When the medical issues piled up, we managed for nearly a year in the midst of the pandemic, but it became obvious that we needed 24 hour assistance for both parents. Meridian provides that, and more. Our parents moved to Meridian in December, and our experiences continue to be very positive. The entire staff at Meridian has been kind, polite, friendly and professional and they have made a difficult, emotional transition smoother than we thought possible. The apartment is nice and cozy and the courtyards provide calming views of beautiful nature. Building upgrades are in progress, and meals are always fresh. The staff keeps us posted when there is a fall or wounds need tending. More than all of that, is the peace of mind knowing that compassionate care is provided for our loved ones when they need it most.

My mother-in-law was in Meridian At Lantana before, and I visited her there quite frequently. I toured that facility before the pandemic, and I just think a smaller community is more beneficial for her. It was a very large facility. We didn't have any problems with any of the staff members there; they were always very helpful. There was one nurse that worked there that for whatever reason didn't like my mother-in-law, and so we got some calls frequently saying that we needed to come down, which was a four-hour, one-way trip for us to get there, and when we would get there there would be nothing wrong. It was an older facility, they did their best to maintain it the best they could, but her room was a lot smaller than where she is now. She did have a porch, but it wasn't screened-in. If you're familiar with Florida, we have a lot of mosquitos, we have a lot of bugs, so you really need to have a screened-in porch.

I visited several communities looking for a place for my Father-in-law. He lives in NY and we were going to bring him down here to live near us and give my Sister-in-law a break. I worked with Jennifer in Sales for a while as we felt The Meridian at Lantana was the best place for Pops. We found it to be homey, cozy, and not too big and overwhelming. The staff was friendly and everyone seemed genuinely happy. Even though my Father-in-law did not end up moving down (he had a decline), I wanted to write a review because everyone went out of their way to help coordinate what we needed such as multiple virtual tours with our family up north and the doctor's orders. I would have felt peace of mind had my Father-in-law moved in to the Meridian at Lantana.

The staff is really great. I walk down the hallway and the boss of the place always says hello. The lady in the financial office always says hi when I walk by. The people that take care of my friend are always nice to her and to me when I visit. I had the food a couple times. It was really good. They always have fun stuff happening too. I think if they did a face lift on the place there wouldnt be any other improvements they could make

My mom and dad have moved into Meridian At Lantana. The experience is somewhat limited, but they seem to be following through on everything. My dad is good with everything, but my mom got the onset of dementia so she is not cooperative as my dad. But I think they're being treated well. My mom did say, "I don't have to cook or clean. They do laundry, they make my bed." She is happy with that, I guess. I ended up picking Lantana because it's close to where the condominium that they own. It's close to where they used to live. When I did the virtual tour, their room was going to be on the ground floor, which is a plus. They had like a sliding door that goes out into a courtyard which is like a big canopy of oak trees, and it was really beautiful. It's an older facility. The reviews that I read were good. I think they stand up to what their reviews are. So far, they have been very receptive. My mom has fallen a couple of times because she has trouble walking, and they immediately called me, and let me know that she fell, and that she's not hurt or anything but she did fall. I was pretty impressed by that. They have done everything I've asked. My parents seem to love the food. My mother has turned into an eating machine, according to my dad. The food is good. My parents are not as active as they should be, but I know they offer the activities. It's expensive, but they were willing to give me a discount. They have like $1500 one-time fee, and they basically gave me a $1500 credit on the first month's rent so I'd say the value is pretty good.

The staff is very caring. They always say hello and made sure my Gram and the other residents feel like it is THEIR home. The rooms are spacious with a lot of storage space and have a good variety of sizes. My Gram didn't have to worry about cooking-they have restaurant-style dining serving 3 meals a day. The food off of the grill is always good and fresh--especially the chicken, which is hard to find. Weekly linen and housekeeping services, transportation to doctors, 24 hr concierge, pool, and jacuzzi. She loved all of the activities--there was always something fun going on. She really liked it there.
