My mom moved into the HarborChase of Coral Springs. They were very organized. It is a very nice facility, and we are very happy with it. I would highly recommend it. The facility is very immaculate. The staff members are very attentive, very well-mannered, and very helpful. They have a movie theater, and you're allowed to sit with your guests or family members. They have a dining area. They also have different activities, like making jewelry, art, music, and exercise for the elderly. They have several outside patios where they can go outside and get some air. It's a nice place.

I recently visited this assisted living residence for my dad who is in need of a lot of care. The marketing person was extremely knowledgeable and she made me feel at ease. While touring, some of the employees working along the path made me feel good about placing my dad there as they came up to me and welcomed me personally. It is very clean and its a beautiful place. In the end, I was able to get all my questions/concerns answered. I visited many along my search, but none tops this facility! I moved my dad in!

My aunt was in HarborChase of Coral Springs for three months. They had a lot of activities, but she didn't participate in any of them. She stayed in her room and laid in bed all day. They did her laundry. The place is beautiful. It's very nice, very elegant. It would be very nice if she participated in stuff, but they couldn't get her to participate, and they kind of gave up. I didn't see the staff a lot. They have a dining room, and then they have a little area where you can go and get little things. They had activities going on all the time, and they had a calendar. The only thing that I did not like was it was $4500 a month, but when you first go in, they charge you an application fee which happens to be $3000. I didn't like the application fee, I thought that was kind of ridiculous when getting $4500 a month. They had a room where they had music, dancing, songs, and people coming in to do stuff, and recreation.

I did a tour of HarborChase of Coral Springs. I know it's clean. It looked like it was busy, and there were a lot of people moving around. There were a lot of people just sitting in wheelchairs staring at the floor, which is one of the reasons I said no. I dont want that because my mobility is bad. I was trying to get my husband and I in the same facility. That way when my children and grandchildren came to visit, there's be a way for them to have a meal or have dinner with us. They told me they had bingo and cards night, and they had transportation to take you where you have to go. They told me they book up exercise classes. When I looked around the Harborchase, it was more memory care. There was no real facility for me. A good friend had her mom there and loved it.

My mom is at HarborChase of Coral Springs, and my father will be there by the end of the week. I love it. It's all one level. It's wheelchair accessible, and I love that the staff is very kind and caring. They are really trying to motivate and get my parents to do stuff and to be more active. Everyone is friendly, flexible, and kind. I can't say enough about how happy I am with them so far. HarborChase is very close to my house, and it was centrally located for me. They were so nice and accommodating. I was pleased with everything. It really was a very quick decision. I felt immediately like it was the right place.

This HarborChase is blessed with the single most important attribute in providing care for its residents--a staff that is well trained and highly motivated. I compare it to two other assisted living facilities with which I've had first hand experience and find this operation to be in a class of its own.

My aunt was at this facility for 5 years and recently passed...she was extremely happy and the care was excellent. Activities, entertainment and overall staff great. I would visit often to see her and everyone knew my name and was always so hospitable. I ate there a few times too and the food is good! Most importantly, they made all of us feel like extended family and that made my entire family feel secure that we made the right decision in placing my aunt there! I would highly recommend it.

I liked HarborChase of Coral Springs very much. They had a main hallway where everybody was gathered playing music, and the atmosphere was lively, not dull. It was very homey. The grounds seemed OK, but the rooms were small. HarborChase was a little higher in price than my sister’s budget.

HarborChase of Coral Springs is small enough to be a quaint family-like atmosphere. I like that it's all on one floor, and the appearance is very nice. Mom has only been there for a mont,h but I'm very happy. They have music therapy, cultural events, and religious ceremonies.

My mother is a resident at HarborChase of Coral Springs, and I could not be more pleased thus far. I am so impressed by the attentiveness, warmth, and compassion shown by the staff, and how they bend over backwards to accommodate not only my mother's every wish, but also those of every resident and visitor who come into the community (and believe me when I say that some of them are not easily pleased!). The quality of my mother’s life has improved immensely since moving in, and the entire experience has been nothing short of wonderful thanks to the caring and extraordinary individuals who work there. The management team, nurses, and care partners are angels and deserve nothing but praise; they certainly have my full respect and admiration, as does HarborChase of Coral Springs. Thank you, thank you!

I do not recommend this facility to anyone! Sadly this facility is only after one thing, your loved one's money! They will tell you what ever is necessary to get you to move in and then change it up once you are there or sadly have your loved one pass. If you move in partial month they want you to pay a full month first, then they will adjust your second month, really?Who does that? Never pay for what you don't use! What if your loved one passes in that fist month....(like mine-after 1 week) they will not give you any prorated amount back but nickel and dime you till the sun doesn't shine so they can keep you money. One strong word of advice...Do not sign contract as "responsible party" sign as a POA for your loved one. They will come after you as "responsible party" to no end threaten legal action on you and cause the family unnecessary duress during your grieving time! Their staff does not follow residents wishes and does not listen to direction from Hospice or family The motto is "not on my watch". The staff can not seem to send the proper paperwork with a resident to the hospital when they send them by ambulance. We were summoned by a care giver to bring paper work to facility so that they could fax to hospital at 11 pm. This paper work was given at time of contract signing, and was copied but mysteriously missing from the file. This represents poor organization and disrespect to the loved one. To add to our horrible experience, when my loved one passed, the care staff on duty was telling the funeral home driver to "hurry up" and remove my loved one as there were residents up! Never did she offer him to use another more discrete door to exit. OH MY GOD I was so upset by her actions and the disrespect she showed us by her words I shudder to think of this happening to anyone else!

HarborChase of Coral Springs would have been my number one choice for my father if he could afford it. It was very homey. It was not very large, but the rooms were beautiful. It was very clean. Everybody seemed very happy there. They had happy hours, and they were playing bingo when I was there. My father likes to sing, and they told me they do have sing-alongs. They also had activities like arts and crafts.

We went to visit HarborChase at Coral Springs. I like this facility very much. We were able to have lunch there, and that was very, very nice. The room that I saw was lovely. The girl who explained everything was very knowledgeable, and she was nice, too.

I put my cousin in Harbor Chase for respite. She is still there, and she is liking it. It seems fine. I like the cleanliness, the activities, and the main girl there. She's great. They have bingo, exercise, dance, and all kinds of stuff. The rooms are very clean and very nicely appointed. The food is acceptable, and the dining room is clean. The working staff seems to be fine. I would highly recommend it.

In my own experience, this community has always shown professionalism and had friendly staff working for them. The rooms were spacious and well-kept; nurses frequently checked up on their residents (our mother) and offered friendly care. My mother was really well taken care of, and she was fond of her nurses. The staff at the kitchen also seemed friendly and paid attention to each resident's personal likes and dislikes with their meals. Each day there were scheduled activities for the residents to participate in, if they chose to do so (she did not always). Socializing amongst residents was encouraged by the facility, and they seemed to do well with planning fun things to do. This facility appears to be running well.

The food at HarborChase was not good and some of their staff were rude. When my mother was staying there, she actually fell and broke her hip. I had to place her in a rehab facility. Security also was an issue in this place, she was only there for three weeks but her gold jewelry went missing.

I made a client visit to this ALF for the first time. When you come to the parking lot, you can tell that this is a very special place. The grounds are immaculately landscaped. The building is a one floor structure with several wings. The only word that I can think of to describe this facility is pure elegance. As I walked in, I was warmly greeted by the staff and taken to my client's room. I passed ladies chatting in the living area, some watching television, some exercising in an adjacent room and some engaged in a religious mass. The interior design is opulent, it is very detailed and I could see that no expense was spared. I met with my client and her son in a private parlor to discuss their transition into the facility. Both were gushing about how much they liked the facility, how the client had already made friends and was very active.

Our grandfather once lived here. The facility is very lovely and was built as an assisted living so there is no elevator or stairs. Very clean. Very expensive. Corporate ownership makes the running of the ALF seem very cold. The exec director is both a former nurse & business woman. Her credentials are impressive, but we noticed that staff was afraid of her. She was cold when dealing with residents and family members. The ALF is right next to Coral Springs Hospital, and that alone makes it the right spot for a sick or elderly person

While in the Coral Springs area, we made a stop at the HarborChase of Coral Springs assisted living facility as an option for my friend's mother. Even though we didn't have an appointment, the staff was friendly and accommodating. The circular drive reminded us of a quaint motel. The grounds had lush greenery with palm trees and shrubs with lovely gardens and patios. We liked the way the main foyer was decorated with fresh flowers. We got to see the diverse staff and residents - which seemed to include people at various levels of care. No one was separated out - the staff simply attended to those who needed it more. It was nice that they could all fraternize easily. We have noticed that at some places, there could be a tendency to separate people according to their physical ability. Residents are regularly invited to participate in everything there is to offer - from outings to indoor games, films and reading groups. Staff seemed to be willing to accommodate any resident need. There is a lot of convenience here as well, from the salon, fully-equipped exercise and whirlpool, to the well-stocked library, Internet access and computer room. We especially liked the uniqueness of the chapel and therapy room. The facility parking, guest meals and room will come in handy for family visits. Pets are permitted, which was a relief, since my friend's mother really loves her cat. The nicely appointed private living spaces were all fresh and seemed newly decorated. There was a variety of types of food available - for example, meal choices ranged from a complete meal to snacks or lighter fare, for those who wanted it. The meals we saw looked delectable - like what you would find in a 4 star restaurant. Every dietary concern seemed to be well addressed. We were offered some snacks to try which were very good: fresh vegetables with a dip, some fruit and hard boiled eggs. Every effort is made to ensure that all residents are taken care of nutritionally. The facility encourages family members to visit regularly and participate in some of the annual activities, such as barbeques and holiday parties. The seniors here really enjoy living here - that was plain to see. The staff is kind, caring and very attentive to all of their needs, whatever they happened to be.
