The staff, owners, and residents are wonderful. My husband and I were residents their two years ago after a health issue. The care my husband received was amazing and enabled us to return home. We are now in the process of moving back in permanently and love that almost all of the employees are still there and remember us. It makes the transition so much easier to already know the staff and so many of the residents.

Fite Living Center is a wonderful place. I would have liked to have gotten my husband in there, but it was expensive. I know people who have families there. The facility is very clean. The staff is very good at what they do. It's a small center. It's an actual home instead of more of a facility. It doesn't hold a lot of patients, but it's more personal care. The people there are trained. They are very professional. They pay a lot of attention to the patients. They have a beautiful garden outside, and they let them go outside. They have a lot of activities for them. They don't just let them sit there. The food is like an actual meal at home.

I toured Fite Living Centre - Cartersville, GA. It's very cozy, nice, and well-kept. They answered every question. They're very helpful and very knowledgeable. I didn't try the food. The place was very clean. They had a little barbershop and common areas like living room.

Fite Living Centre - Cartersville, GA seemed good. The person we dealt with was very good. The rooms seemed nice. It's an older house, but they were all taken care of and refreshed. They didn't have anything going on at that time. The dining area was very nice, but we didn't have any chance to be there at mealtime. The personnel seemed to be very good.

Fite Living Centre - Cartersville is a residential home turned into a care center and it was nice. The one who did the tour took us around to the living room first, it's like a sitting area with the TV and everything. Then she took us through the dining room and showed us the kitchen, and then we went to each floor. They have these really large rooms and they were nice. They have plenty of space and some of the residents were in the rooms that we saw. They were very nice and I asked them if they liked being there, and they did. One was private because there was just one lady in one of them, but there were two ladies in the other one, so I guess you'd get a choice. I would say they could probably accommodate maybe 25 residents. It's 3 floors but I didn't get to see the third floor. They had a place with books and some puzzles. She didn't say what kind of amenities, but she said they do things. I didn't see a courtyard, but they got a really large front porch with a lot of rocking chairs and a big, long ramp. That was nice, it was the old Victorian kind of house. They had a big front yard so they could walk in the front yard if they wanted to, I guess. The staff's name was Debbie and she was very polite. She said that she had worked there when she was younger, and then after she retired, she came back to work.

We visited Fite Living Centre. It is an older facility, but it's well kept inside and out. I was pleased with the things that they offered, and the program that they had in place. Activities are pretty much the same as most of them. They had some structured games and areas that members could go to. As far as organized things, they offered them. They did not have to participate. They had people come in from local churches to present music and just different things. They had things in-house; they didn't have to actually leave the building. Everyone was very friendly and very kind to the people that were staying there. They called them as they passed and spoke to them. They were speaking from their knowledge of them, not just speaking in general. They spoke to them by name and with general concern. I didn't try the food, but they had food out. It smelled wonderful in there, and the people were eating. I like this facility. I thought it was beautiful. The staff were very caring.

The staff at Fite Living Centre Cartersville was really nice; they were very friendly and very informative. The house itself looks nice; it's an old hotel. The only thing we're concerned about is that the floors are uneven. Everything looked good and it's clean, it's just the floors. My mom commented that she'll have problems not falling there. The person who gave the tour was very nice and very sweet. She asked us a lot of questions, and she gathered lots of information, which was good. They have someone who comes in and runs a beauty salon and a barber. They have transportation to doctors' appointments and lots of activities for the residents.

My brother was a resident of Fite Living Center for 11/2 years. I had no idea that a place like this existed. The rooms are spacious and clean the whole building has a charm about it that makes the residents and visitors feel comfortable and at home. The staff takes their time with each resident to listen to them and make them feel like family. I was surprise to see how many out of the center trips that they carry the residents to: Braves baseball games, lunch and dinner at local restaurants, the men go out for coffee and donuts. My brothers all time favorite trip was to the Nutcracker (Marietta) one Christmas to see the owners daughter perform. The owners and the staff go above and beyond to help the residents and their families for example my brother had to have a special detergent for his laundry, that was not a problem I carried it in and it was used for his clothes they wash each residents clothing separately. I will assure you that if you have a loved one who needs a place to live where they will be taken care of and loved like family Fite Living Center is your place, look no further.

This is such a loving, caring place for my mother. She loves the home cooking and the caregivers that love her. Fite is a beautiful 1890 Victorian home with original wood floors. The staff keep mom engaged with many activities and outings. Not having extra fees for every little thing makes it a great value too!

My mother moved into Fite after my father passed. They had been married 70 years! When we visited Fite the staff were friendly and helpful with questions and touring. This is a location that feels like you are walking into your own home. The rooms are open with tall windows for lots of natural light. The trips to shop, Lunch, and tour a apple vineyard were the highlights of my mother’s time there. She enjoyed the crafts and games. The staff were not just doing their job they CARE about each of the residents and take the time to know their needs. I highly recommend Fite Living Center for your love ones!

Fite was not just a facility, it was home for my Grandma. The staff and other residents loved her like her own family. The meals were wholesome and delicious and she especially enjoyed the ice cream any time she could. She enjoyed the many social and craft activities options made available to her. I believed keeping her mind and hands active helped keep her young. The rooms are spacious and the hallways well lighted and wide. Staff is always friendly.

My Grandmother has been at The Fite for 8 years and it only continues to get better! She had spent a few years at a different assisted living community and we noticed that there was a lack of care for her at that facility and she did not seem happy. The Fite was exactly what we were looking for in an assisted living center. The staff and nursing care is incredible and we always feel welcome to visit. They encourage my Grandmother to participate in the activities that they have available and she seems more comfortable at the Fite compared to the previous living center. My family truly appreciates all that the staff does to make my Grandmother feel at home again!

The director at Fite Living was extremely helpful in answering all of my questions. He spent a lot of time with me and took me on a guided tour. I got to talk with the residents who had been there for quite a few years, and they couldn't say enough nice things about the facility, the director, and the nurses. The rooms were beautifut. It's a historic home, so it was more homey instead of feeling like a facility. It had beautiful furniture, and the residents seemed to like the food. I wasn’t able to try it, but the food smelled good.

This is the best facility of its type that I have ever seen. We found out about it from a church member whose husband was there. I cannot say enough about the true caring nature of the staff. They are warm and welcoming. The food was excellent. It is a home away from home and my mother always felt of it as home. If it is possible to keep your loved one there,do so. It will be the best decision you could possibly make.

Both Mother and Daddy stayed at Fite Living Center until each of their passing, and they loved the nurses and caregivers dearly. The staff was extremely loving to all the residents, the rooms were spacious and comfortable, and the facility was beautiful and well kept. For my parents, it was truly home away from home. My family is exceedingly grateful to everyone at Fite for providing my parents with the greatest care. We highly recommend Fite Living Center!

my mom has been there for 3.5 years and her cholesterol has gone done from 295 to 175, no drugs, sugar needs no drugs, a lot goes into the diet. the staff is very caring. i go in and out all times of the day and i only see the staff treat the residents with the up most of respect. they give her care that i’m sure i couldn’t if i had to take care of her 24/7. so when i go in my mom gets the best of me. Fite is such a God sent. so glad i live near where my mom can get this excellent care at this big bed and breakfast looking place.

My mother-in-law is at Fite and although it was hard for her to leave her home, she is SO happy at Fite. The staff is attentive and caring. It has a wonderful atmosphere and from what I can see the residents are really treated special. Everyone seems happy. I couldn't be more pleased.

My mother lived at Fite for almost 3 years and I was in and out at all hours. During that time mother received care and love above and beyond my expectations. Also, the facility is very clean and feels like home rather than an institution. I can honestly say that when and if I ever need assisted living I hope that Fite will still be available.

When I visited the facility, the first thing that caught my attention was how beautiful it was. It's located right in the historical district of Cartersville, GA. The building was a beautiful white Victorian with well-manicured grounds. The wrap around porch was stunning, and the many rocking chairs along the porch were filled with happy residents in conversation. The inside was just as beautiful as the exterior, and what struck me the most was how clean and orderly everything was. The front room was gorgeous with a fire place and a grand piano. It was pretty much deserted, but I was told later that everyone was at lunch and the room was usually full. The only dark spot of the whole experience was that I did have a hard time finding any of the staff. I ended up asking a resident if they knew where anyone was, and they were able to quickly bring someone to assist me. The rest of the facility seemed just as clean and orderly as the front, including all the rooms and the dining hall. The only reoccurring problem was that the facility seemed understaffed, although you wouldn't know it by looking at the place or the residents. I ended not choosing their facility because my father required more care than they offered, but for patients with less of a need, it seemed like a very lovely place.

My Mother was a resident of this great facility from late October 2011 until her passing last week. Words cannot describe how wonderful the staff and owners are. Mother was unhappy in a previous location. But the day she walked into The Fite Living Centre, she knew she was HOME. The love that flows from all the caregivers surrounded her. At the last, those loving people supported us and Mother. God Bless You All!

My mother is a resident and I can tell you, we could not be more pleased. The staff is WONDERFUL! They are attentive and caring. They really seem to enjoy their jobs and it comes through in the way they interact with the residents. My mother was at another assisted living home before going to Fite. Fite is "head and shoulders" above any other facilities I have seen. They go the extra mile. My mother loves it there!

I was impressed with the facilities, as this assisted living center is located in a well kept three story 1900's historic house in the downtown district of Cartersville. The inside of the facility is well kept and clean, and the personal rooms can accommodate up to two people with their belongings. They have many rooms and sections of the building where the residents stay, depending on the dependence level of each individual. All of the sections of the facility have a "homey"Â feel and it keeps the seniors calm and comfortable. The seniors have a strictly kept routine schedule and they seem to do well on it. The staff includes a personal cook, a nurse, a handful of care workers, and a personal hairstylist who comes once a week. They have several outings and festivities that they do each week, and most importantly family and friends are encouraged to come visit during certain hours of the day.
