The cost of home health care in Georgia is $23 per hour on average. According to Genworth’s Cost of Care Survey 2021, this is significantly cheaper than the U.S. average hourly fee of $27. The actual cost of home health care depends on several factors, including the necessary services, the level of care needed and the individual’s home city.

Home Health Care Versus Home Care

  • Monitoring of health conditions
  • Medication administration
  • IV therapy
  • Catheter care
  • Wound care

  • Bathing
  • Grooming
  • Dressing

  • Eating

Home care may also include companionship, meal preparation, domestic duties and light yard work.
