What Do Home Health Aides Do?

Home health aides complete a range of non-clinical supportive services designed to help older adults remain in their own homes. While nurses and therapists perform the medical services offered by Delaware’s home health care agencies, aides assist medical professionals and service recipients. Nurses usually supervise home health aides. Typical aide duties may include giving bed baths or helping seniors to shower, assisting people with getting dressed and reminding individuals to take their medications.
