I went to look at Avamere Park Place. They were under construction, so we didn't see a room or anything. I would have liked to have seen a room, but the facility was clean. The dining room was very nice. I saw the menu and it was pretty nice. It was restaurant-style. You could pick and choose what you wanted. They had a library, a pool outside, and a craft room. The lady that took us around was going to be leaving, and we met the person who was going to take her place. They were both really nice. The one who took her place has been calling me and checking in to see if I've found any place yet.

I visited a friend at Avamere Park Place. He was there for a short period of time, after which he passed away. It was nice. It was a good group of people who run it, and he was happy there. He said that the food was good, and he enjoyed the place that he was in. He had a nice little room where he had a nice view that looked out onto some trees and a little creek. It was a pleasant little place. The facility was kind of set back from the road, so it was really easy to miss if you were driving by. It had a nice atmosphere. They had things for them to do. They had a big visiting room out front, and there would be a lot of people just out there talking amongst themselves as well. The people there were good. The management there were very good. It was a good deal for the money.

I've been a resident here for 7 months and I'm still feeling good about my life and Park Place being my choice for my now forever home. I find that most of the daily care staff are doing a good job even though they are generally working under staffed. I have been treated with respect. The staff of Claudia, Skylar, Callie, and Toni have consistently been helpful. I really appreciate Mark,Cassie and Don assistance in my getting moved to the perfect apartment for me and my service dog,Riley .

We found Brookdale Park Place Tigard for my father. They seem very caring and very interested in the residents. He is moving in today, so the reaction that I had so far has been great. They’re very family-oriented. The way they come across is like they really want to take care of the residents.

I visited Brookdale Park Place Tigard. It was a very nice facility. I had some food there, and the food was good. Everything about it was really nice. One of the nice things is they have really nice grounds for walking. The people that work there were really nice.

Emeritus seemed like it was pretty nice. They didn't have any openings that fit our needs at the time. I saw the room, and it was a little more finished. The staff was very nice. They have fairly good menus, and the food seems like it's pretty good.

When I went on the tour, I was promised things. They were lies! They told me that juice machine would be available 24 hours a day but it's shut off after meals.

We were waiting for an opening at Emeritus at Park Place. My mother-in-law is now on the #2 list. I like that they have whole apartments and that was what she wanted. The atmosphere was wonderful and the staff were very nice. All the people that were there were very friendly and that was what were are hoping for because she has no social skills. They have a bazillion activities; all kinds of activities. Definitely, I would recommend them.

It was nice and they provided everything. The rooms were fine. They have an activity room with a nice piano and all kinds of games to play. I would recommend it to others.

I will admit that I have very limited experience with this particular provider as I was only there for a visit, however what I saw in my two hour visit was very impressive. The staff was attentive, caring, and respectful of the independence they were able to offer. I never once saw an area that needed extra attention, as it seemed as though the entire place was very well organized. My only feedback about areas to improve would be parking in the area for visitors, however this is more of a Portland thing, rather than a Park Place thing.

The entire staff and each of the residents of Park Place have been welcoming and friendly. I have full peace of mind that relocating mom from California to the Portland area to be nearer family has been the best decision. She was made to feel at home from the first moment she entered the facility. The staff took extra steps to make her apartment a perfect setting, even before the arrival of her own furniture. The friendly service has been above and beyond. I look forward to the many years we will count the people of Park Place as extended family.

Seems great so far - moved my mother (Carol) into Park Place today. Natasha, Blair and Lana are personable and helpful, our greeter, Beverly, was wonderful and the dinner was great tonight. Thank you all. Updates as we go.

At first when I walked in, I thought the set up was a little awkward, and the residents were all very quiet. After introducing myself as a student group member from a local university interested in Gerontology the residents warmed up. I felt that Park Place was clean and nothing looked dingy, however I did notice a slight odor of ammonia in the air which is very shocking when first visiting. The staff were welcoming and warm however they also interacted with residents on an "as needed" basis. I thought their old school diner was actually wonderful for residents, they seemed to enjoy having a non-traditional cafeteria as a gathering place. All in all I enjoyed my tour of park place however I would not recommend one of my own family members to this facility as I feel their standard for quality could be improved upon.
