Rooms are larger than most in the area. Very homey and spacious with this gorgeous outside space for family. Only a block away from restaurants and stores. My uncle loves going for walks at Forest Park and says it is just beautiful. Staff is super friendly and the lovely sales team, she was our first impression and really blew us away with accommodations on his vegetarian diet. We appreciate you!

Atria Kew Gardens is excellent. I wanted to move in myself. The staff was also excellent. They have nice rooms. It's clean. There's no nursing home/hospital smell. What I like best about the place is Jocelyn. She was the one in charge and showed me around. The atmosphere of the place was very entertaining and very stimulating. As soon as I walked in, I knew this was the spot. When you walked in the door, it was very welcoming.

Atria Kew Gardens appears to be a nice, well-kept building with several amenities for the residents. The room that was shown to us looked very nice and cozy for the person to live in, and it felt comfortable, too. They have three menus and a lot of activities with also outdoor area for relaxation. I thought it was a nice place, but unfortunately, my mom wasn't ready. The living space appeared to be sufficient for one person. We saw the one-bedroom apartment. It's easy to get into the shower. The kitchenette area was sufficient for either one or two people with a refrigerator and pantry area. And it has a nice walk-in closet. We had lunch with them, and the food was good.

We came to visit Atria Kew Gardens and it is par excellence - definitely five star. A relatively new building, it has all the amenities including individual thermostat control in every room. We were treated to lunch and the food is delicious. Also, the place is immaculate and clearly well maintained. The Community Sales Director, Jocelyn, was amazing. She understood every question/issue we might have. Others we met were also warm & welcoming. It seems to be a gr8 place for my husband & me.

I was looking for a place for my parents. I was not familiar with the assisted living community so I was very skeptical. I must say that Atria of Kew Gardens has excited my expectations. The food that my parents receive is excellent, my dad gained weight his first month. The apartment that they have is perfect for them, open and it has a nice view. The housekeeping keeps it clean at all times. The staff at Atria has been the biggest bonus, they have made my parents feel like family. They are attentive to all their needs and communicate with me on a regular basis. The peace of mind as a daughter that I have makes me highly recommend this place.

The rooms are attractive and well laid out. Everyone on the staff was welcoming and helpful. The food was excellent with choice from a nice menu. The place is spacious with plenty of natural light and access to protected outdoor seating, and there are plenty of activities to suit various interests.

I just moved my mom into the Memory Care floor of Atria Kew Gardens in September. The rooms are bright and clean and the very staff member I have come in contact with has been lovely, always helpful and friendly. I had the opportunity to try the food as well, which was delicious! My mom is receiving excellent care!

My mom and I are so grateful to have found Atria. Her apartement is spacious and homey. We have found the staff to be warm and kind. My mom has been enthralled with some of the topics discussed and presented. There's a spacious green patio for the residents to enjoy and the food is nutritious and tasty! We love it!

At Atria Kew Gardens they do memory care, but the residents have to be physically mobile. The facility was very nice and very clean. They seemed to have a lot of attention to the needs of their residents. They had activities, in particular social activities to keep them active, and the ability to customize your room so that it feels like home to you. I didn't taste the food, but they said they adjust the menu for people who have specific needs. They focus on communal eating, so people come down to have their meals together to be more social. The dining room was very nice. You have the flexibility to come get your relative and take them out. The activities looked great. They have movie sessions and things that keep the residents active and social. It looked like they had quite a few people come in to provide entertainment and activities as well. They were having a movie being played, and it was down in the movie room, and there were quite a few residents there. I wasn't there long enough to see the full experience. The only negative is it's lacking a parking lot for the people visiting, but that's a common issue in New York City. The staff I met there were very nice.

I liked Atria Kew Gardens. It just had a nice, homey feeling to it. It wasn't too big or too small. It was clean. The people were pleasant, I liked the apartments, their patio was huge, and it had more greenery. It was really, really nice. If it were not for the fact that it was too far for me, I would have gone with that first. I tried the food; I wasn't crazy about it.

The tour we had at Atria Kew Gardens went very well. I liked it. It was excellent. The community was very friendly. The place was very clean, very warm, and very efficient. The person who conducted the tour was very frank and informative, but again, friendly and welcoming. I thought the place was just absolutely great. They got different apartment sizes. They looked clean and well-lit. The furnishings looked pretty new. It was a place where you could feel comfortable moving in quickly. The dining room looked nice, too. We looked at the menu and the variety of food looked really good. Then they showed us a little menu of activities and it had a very large quantity of choices as well as having a person to drive to go shopping and things like that. I got the impression that there's a lot of activity.

The tour experience at Atria Kew Gardens was very good. The place was excellent and I looked at their independent living. It looked like they offered a very good variety of activities to be available. They have a very lovely dining space and a very comfortable apartment. There was a chart of activities on the wall that you could participate in and particularly tai chi was the one that interested my husband. The person who gave the tour was knowledgeable and cordial. The parking was not an issue because we were driven there in a courtesy car. The place had pretty flowers outside.

I toured Atria Kew Gardens memory care. The staff was very nice, it looked clean and it looked like a nice place to live. There's an outdoor space, there's a rec room and there are activities. They do arts and crafts, movies, exercise classes, and stretching.

Atria Kew Gardens was very, very nice. Everything was nice, the people were nice, and the place was very clean. I'm very impressed with it, but the surrounding community is a little too congested. I'd probably go with a little bit more grounds. My tour was excellent. The activities were really nice, I saw their card games, bingo, card room, and it was very nice. The amenities were all very nice, I had no complaints. The apartments were absolutely beautiful. I saw both a one-bedroom and a studio, they were both very, very nice.

My mom is going to move into Atria Kew Gardens this weekend. It was very nice, very clean. Everything was very polished looking. It looked more like a hotel than anything else. The little apartments were very nice. You could provide your own furniture for the living room and dining room areas. They provide the bedroom furnishings. The staff was very friendly and very helpful. It was just a very pretty and well organized place. I checked the menu. The menu looked like it had a wide array of offerings, and it looked like it was like restaurant quality food. It wasn't just like boiled potatoes or something. It seemed to have gourmet food. There were several selections for each meal. I observed a few of the activities. It seems like there's a full schedule of activities every day. My mother said she didn't want to do any of the activities, but the staff there said that they hoped they would be able to convince her to try some of them. I'm hoping that if she has people around her, they'll be able to convince her to at least try some of them. I hope maybe she will do some of them regularly.

This is the third place I’ve moved my mother and I could not ask for better staff and better service. My mom is so happy and engaged every day. I love all of the carestaff and the management team works hard to have fun and meet the requests of the residents. My family receives community updates often. I could not be happier and it is so nice to see all of the residents thriving!

My 75 year old mother moved into assisted living at Atria Kew Gardens in July, 2020. Her apartment is absolutely stunning and everyone who works there goes above and beyond the call of duty. I am so happy that my mom is able to enjoy her retirement years in a place that offers amazing amenities and exceptional service. Thank you to the staff for all you do to make Atria Kew Gardens her home.

I recommend Atria Kew Gardens to all families looking for a clean, professional, caring, and friendly environment for their loved ones. My step-mother lived here for almost one year before her death. The staff were WONDERFUL. The food is freshly prepared and the care is excellent. Updates and communication are excellent. A true gem!!!!

I toured a lot of facilities before I came across the Atria Kew Gardens, and my impression of the other places to be honest was not that positive, since I sensed a lack of true warmth and caring from the staff. The reason I chose the Atria Kew Gardens for my loved one was because of the AMAZING female Community Sales Director. From my very first contact with her--when she gave me a virtual tour of the facilities--I saw right away that she is such a kind, wonderful, and hard working person, who was available to me around the clock and who answered all my constant questions about the Atria via texts and emails, as well as calling me, not only during the day but in the evenings and on weekends as well. For instance, she came to visit me at my home on a Saturday afternoon--which is her day off--to bring me the contract in person for me to sign. I had many questions and concerns about the Atria Kew Gardens and she addressed them all in such a kind, timely, and loving way. Since she was my first point of contact with the Atria--and I could tell she was being completely honest with me regarding all of my questions--I got a very good feeling about the Atria overall. And all of the positive things that she told me about the Atria have proven to be correct: the staff is incredible--so kind and attentive to my Dad. My Dad is in Memory Care in a shared room and his room is lovely. Staff came up to me directly during a recent visit--without my asking them anything--to spontaneously give me updates about how my Dad is doing overall when I am not there to visit. My Dad seems very content and well-adjusted, and he told me he is very happy there and loves participating in all of the activities, which is all that I can ask for. Once again, the female Community Sales Director is such an incredible person, and is a tremendous asset to Atria Kew Gardens, which is very lucky to have her on board. I give my highest recommendation to Atria Kew Gardens in general, and to the female Community Sales Director in particular. If you are looking for a facility for your loved one, you can't go wrong with Atria Kew Gardens. Ask for the female Community Sales Director and you will soon experience how wonderful she is for yourself. Thank you so very much again for everything! You made what could have been an extremely difficult and stressful process easy, smooth, and flawless. My Dad and I can never thank you enough for all that you have done for us. May the Universe bless you always with all of the joy and care that you share with others every single day. You are a national treasure, and I feel so blessed to have met and worked with you. :-)

Atria Kew Gardens was beautiful. When we walked in, they had a welcome sign with my friend's name on it. Everybody said hello. It was absolutely a beautiful experience. Activities were going on all the time. The staff who showed us around were wonderful. The food was also delicious. I was very impressed. The dining room and the private dining room were gorgeous. It was very clean and neat. The residents were active and everyone we passed by smiled and said hello.

I am moving into Atria Kew Gardens. It's a very nice looking place. It almost looks like it's in a park, and very nicely landscaped. It's much more roomy than where I'm at now. There were a lot of closets for a one-bedroom apartment. I had lunch there, and it was very good. I saw the activity director briefly, and they talked about James Stewart. It looked like they were discussing movies. I was told that there's a walking club. I have two two cats, and they have someone who comes in and watches your animals if you do need that. They have transportation. Those were two things that helped me decide, and overall it was very nice. It's very well-kept, and it's very attractive. The staff was very, very nice and personable. It's just got that good vibe there; that is why I'm moving in. You know, it's just a really nice atmosphere; that's what made me decide on there.

Atria Kew Gardens was very nice. They had everything that my sister needed. They had a place to wash your clothes, and they do housekeeping and medication reminder. The rooms were very nice. They showed us a 1-bedroom, 2-bedroom and studio, all the facilities, and all the things that they offer. The staff was good and polite, and even people in their rooms said hello. They were very nice, cordial, and very polite. They had a room for arts and crafts. I liked everything they offer. It looked like it was in a residential area, but it was one of the best- looking ones. The staff was good and he keeps calling and asking me if I changed my mind. The menu had a wide variety of stuff.

I am currently a resident of Atria Kew Gardens, and I like it here. The meals are good, and the service is good. It's just not in my budget anymore. The staff is friendly, too. They help us as much as they can, even during the pandemic. They tried to be creative in engaging the residents. The facility is very accommodating. My room is nice and spacious. I asked and received a two-bedroom. I knew I could maintain the rent for awhile, but after I moved in, I wanted to get more stable financing, and that didn't happen. I'm in a situation now where I can't afford it anymore, but the staff is good and friendly. They do what they're supposed to do. If I have an issue, I let them know, and they correct it as quickly as they can. I really have no complaints about them. They have an outdoor area here, but with the pandemic, there are a lot of things that I believe they were doing before I moved in that they've had to cancel. They only have activities in line with what they're able to do during the pandemic, like balcony gatherings and a giant turkey that visited each room for Thanksgiving (and if you wanted to take pictures with the turkey, you could). The activities are basically individualized. We play bingo through listening to the loudspeaker or the walkie-talkie, and they also set up games for us. It's pricey, but they offer a lot, so someone really has to have a high income level to live here.

Poor value. Prices high for the care and services actually provided. Annual increases are unreasonable - but keep coming every year. On-going complaints about food but nothing done. Entrainment not much more than participating in group computer games. Staff is a revolving door. Better places surely exist.

My sister stayed at Atria Kew Gardens for only two weeks. Her room was fine. The staff was nice, and the director took me around and explained everything. The dining area was good sized, and they had different sections to accommodate all the residents. Everything looked nice. We saw a room upstairs, and it was very nice. We ended up buying some furniture for her, a loveseat, a chair, a TV, and a stand. They had a video room, and they had Bingo. It's a really nice place.

I visited Atria Kew Gardens. It wasn't as nice as the other community I visited, but it was still pretty good. The staff members I met were nice and the place was quite clean. The apartments were a little bit small, but OK. I saw the outside area and grounds, and they were beautiful.

Atria Kew Gardens was a terrible place to go. It was also extremely expensive, had no flexibility, and had very bad sales pitch. They haven't even met my mother, but they already set her in the program. The person assigned to us was OK and showed us the facility. The facility was newly-renovated, very modern and clean, but it had a hospital feel, and the hallways were very narrow and confined. They had a rooftop deck and the rooms were nice. It's in a nice community, but it had more of an institutional feel. The lobby where people hang out wasn't very comfortable and I didn't find it homey. The cafeteria with a restaurant setting for meals was OK, but I found it cold. It's a huge facility, which is another thing that turned me off.

I am working on trying to find an oncologist and a nutritionist who know the ketogenic diet for cancer; but I would also have to hire someone to cook the recipes. The kitchen either cannot or will not follow instructions to the letter or follow the recipe exactly, so I eat hard-boiled eggs and raw vegetables. They will not stop feeding me aphids and thrips, also known as "no spices." In a place known for its gourmet menus, I want no sugar and no starch, which the body converts into sugar. Sugar is the only food cancer cells can eat. Sugar is cancer's Kryptonite. When I want gourmet, I will hire someone to cook keto desserts. The good thing is, on the computer in the library, I was very lucky to get an all-access pass to the Keto Summit, The keynote speaker got an e-mail asking if he knows any hyperbaric oxygen therapy doctors in New York. He does; and I have a consultation with that doctor. I pay mainly for the computer. Probably, Atria bought this computer before Best Buy opened, so they can't call the Geek Squad. At the very least, they could get more memory. You can only open one window at a time on this computer. They should Firefox and Chrome. I think Atria could improve by requiring the dining room staff to learn the laws of keeping Kosher, by getting a dog to come visit at least once a week [like the dogs from tdi.org] and by posting the trips they take where everyone can see them.

The upgraded computer printer in the library has not been fixed for two weeks. Atria does not print anything for residents. Atria refuses to serve the ketogenic diet for cancer. Do yourself a favor--don't schedule a tour.

They gave us a tour of the whole facility of Atria. They focused on the dementia floor, and we liked how the room was set up. They had pictures, so people could recognize the rooms. The dining area was really nice. It looked a little bit like a hotel. We felt that the residents were treated with dignity and respect. They had a lot of activities going on. I think the location is good, and the staff is caring.

Atria Kew Gardens was fine except they did not have the ability to take the residents out for excursions the way the other place I saw did. They didn't have as many activities either, which made it less attractive to us. I only met with one person, and she was very nice. If they're looking for outside activities, I would not recommend it. If they're looking for a place that looks clean and well run, I would say yes.

Atria Kew Gardens was excellent in every way. My mother had an apartment there, and she brought some of her own furniture. The meals were very good. I found Atria Kew Gardens for my parent. It is an apartment building. The place is in a very nice neighborhood. It is very well kept. It is very well staffed. My parent has a typical one-bedroom apartment with a little kitchenette. It has a full bathroom, a bedroom, and a living room. The staff is very helpful and very friendly. However, they could improve on telephone response from the nursing staff; it could be faster. Regarding their dining area, it is like a large clean restaurant.

Atria was warm and had a religious atmosphere. The staff was very helpful and very caring. The rooms were very pleasant and nicely laid out. I had one meal, and it was a nice one. They seemed to have a varied menu. They had a ton of activities, a lot of different types. I like the warm, caring atmosphere. They really went out of their way to follow up and to make sure everything was taken care of.

The staff and residents we spoke with were very friendly. We had tea in the afternoon which was most lovely. There seemed to be a lot of activity such as movies, bingo, live entertainment, something for everyone. The area is very congested. The facility is surrounded by private homes one on top of the other. The apartments seem to be very adequate but without much closet space. If you have a car it might be difficult to park.

I found Atria Kew Gardens to be very nice. However, they didn't have parking. It was a street parking. The rooms were very nice, but they didn't have one with bathtub that was available. I don't think they had doubles. I had one meal there and the food was good. The facility was close to my cousin. The disadvantage was that they didn't have parking. I found that as a big disadvantage for the family.

I have a relative in this facility. The staff is extremely caring and place is lovely to look at. However, food and dining services are not what they should be considering how much we pay for this facility. Also if you are not an Orthodox Jew you may feel uncomfortable in this environment. The living room area used to be used for concerts etc. because of comfort and size but now they pack the residents into the small media room area just so the living room remains a showcase. Good marketing with a lack of compassion for the residents.

Atria in Kew Gardens is one of the few Glatt Kosher assisted living facilities in NY . It is clean the staff friendly caring but the food is not so great. . The rooms are nice and are kept clean. There are daily activities and trips that are interesting. One of the problems we find is the staff turnover and the medical care. The nurses and medical aides are wonderful but the Doctors and the transferance of information is not great. I have recommended this Atria in the past and I will still do so in the future, but like any place else you must be involved with your loved one care and on top of things.

Thank you for taking the time to provide your feedback on Atria Kew Gardens.
