My mom moved into The Cove at Waterview's assisted living. We chose them for their activities, the meal options, and the staff. Those were the 3 things that really stood out. They've got weekly things that they do, like last week it was "Seniors Gone Wild." They have baseball watching parties for the Texas Rangers baseball team. They've got meet and greets and happy hours. I think, at some times of the year, they have bus trips outside too. I have not tried it, but my mom has told me she likes the food. The staff has been very friendly, very informative, and they all appear like they really like working there. They've got multiple rooms that they can have activities in. There's an exercise room, and they've got an in-house physical therapy person. They also have a library, a couple of the bigger rooms have TVs available to watch movies or sporting events, and the place is in really good repair and very good upkeep.

The Cove at Waterview was very nice and the place was big. I didn't see a lot of people, but the lady that I talked to was very nice and very easy to speak with. It was very nicely done, very clean, and well-kept. The outdoor spaces were also very nice, well taken care of, and well maintained.

My father is now living in Waterview in The Cove. The community has a very limited number of beds in their memory care; I think there's just about 20. Their staff is excellent, and they're the best I've ever seen. Their food is great and they have organized, scheduled days for activities and meals. The doctor they use really works well with geriatric patients. I wouldn't have my dad anywhere else. My dad was in a very bad senior community before, so this place is a godsend. They play games, they do group exercise if he can participate, they get home healthcare to come in and do therapy depending on each patient's needs. They also have puzzles and magazines, and they have all kinds of stuff for people to do. They're less expensive than my dad's previous place.

I visited The Cove, but they didn't have my appointment, so I didn't get to see very much since they were not expecting me. They were friendly, but the place was like a glorified nursing home. I was not impressed with it at all, and it wasn't very pleasant-looking. The sales manager that I met was very nice. I saw them doing activities. It was just like a bunch of people in wheelchairs and that didn't appeal to me. I wouldn't really recommend them.

My mom has been a resident at the Cove for over five hours year. She has always received amazing care with love and compassion. She is now in the Memory Care Unit and I could not be happier. The staff is so good to interact with the residents. They are alway having fun events and activities to keep these precious residents stimulated and entertained. We are so blessed to have Mom in such a wonderful place. All her needs are met and we are always greeted with a smile. Everyone is respected and valued.

Waterview is a very nice, warm, and inviting place; we have friends who were there. It’s a bit upscale and makes you feel like you’re in a 4 or 5 star hotel. I have toured three friends who have lived there and a friend who is living here now. The apartments were quite small, but for one person they are very adequate and very nicely appointed. I believe every apartment there has a view of the lake. I have eaten several times; the food is great, and the dining room was lovely. There’s an attendant or waitress that takes your order, and it’s tableclothed -- just upscale. The only reason that we didn’t choose that is we just didn’t feel like we were ready to make that kind of change in our life yet.

I liked Waterview. What we wanted was a small condo with a patio and a small backyard. They had a lot of services that we were not really interested in, like a meal plan and some of the transportation activities. The rooms were fine. In fact, they were very nice and adequately sized. They had activities and nice facilities. I thought the staff was quite nice.

My dad is living in Waterview now. We chose it because it is closer to town, the price is very good, and their facility is amazing. I will absolutely recommend them to others.

My mom was in Waterview for a short time, but the staff was very helpful. They had all types of stuff, and they had activities every day from 9 in the morning until about 6. They had movies and one day, they had balloon volleyball. It was a fairly new place.

My parents are at Waterview Senior Living. We decided on this place because of its location and it fits all of our needs. It's a good size facility as it is not too big. The staff has been really good. The rooms were very nice. It’s fairly new facility and every looks cleans and new. I tried the food and it was excellent. They do have different activities like bridge, bingo, dominos, movies, field trips, and walks. They have a workout facility also. So far, I am very happy with the facility.
