We had a hard time finding placement for my father-in-law due to some of his needs. From the moment we walked in the staff here were welcoming, accommodating and caring. I would definitely recommend this nursing home to anyone looking for care for their family member!!

My sister-in-law is at Edenbrook St. Cloud. It's not the best. They're slow at helping. The food is not all the greatest. They could use way more help. She doesn't get much help for what they do because their beds aren't fixed very often. She sits in the wheelchair all day and doesn't get help out of the chair whatsoever until bedtime. She claims that when they do help her out, they handle her pretty rough. Some of the main staff that I've talked to sound like they're caring, but I don't know. I haven't talked to any of the nursing aides at all because I never see them around. I don't know who's an aide and who's a cleaner. When I try to stop somebody to talk to them, they either keep walking or they say, "Oh, it's not my problem. I'll get somebody else," and nobody shows up. It's hard to find somebody to talk to, somebody that is in charge. I haven't seen a lot of the food, but the other day, my sister-in-law had chicken filet. It was so dried up that she couldn't even cut it. I think a lot of times they overcook their food. Then it takes a while for it to get to their clients, and then it's almost cold by the time they get it. It's like a rectangular building. In the center of the whole building, there might be a patio, but I don't know how they get at it. From the floor that she's on, she can see to the outside. They try to get a lot of windows that they can see out. They have quite a few places where they could sit and visit with people when they're out of their rooms if they choose to. They have puzzles and activities that they can do, and they have bingo every other day. They have lots of room for them to get around with their wheelchairs through the hallways. She was in rehab for three months and now she's in the nursing home part.

The facility always seems clean and the staff is very friendly. My grandmother is not able to do a lot for her self, but with added cost, she is able to stay in her apartment and basically have nursing home level care. She does complain that the food is not very good. She has a nice view out her window. There is also services that will help her get to the grocery store if she were able. There is also a nice area that our extended family can sit in to have lunch at when we visit. The dining staff also provided us all a Easter dinner, for an additional cost, which allowed us to celebrate the holiday together. When we bring our children to visit my grandma, the other residents seem happy to see the children also.
