This place was a Nightmare of and experience for my Mother and me. My mother entered in a walker from the Hospital on a Friday I had them call ambulance on next Wednesday she died Thursday. When I saw her on Wednesday she was nearly dead not speaking barely responding. She arrived on Friday by Monday she couldn’t talk well by Tuesday moaning by Wednesday screaming when a staff member brought the phone to her. I couldn’t get in to see her because of covid I called everyday and half the time different responses from beginning to your mother doesn’t want us to help her basically saying she’s not helping herself to the next day a woman from next door was sitting on her bed saying she was sick couldn’t talk. To my mother Moaning!! What happen in basically 5 days? The Wednesday morning when I called she was screaming and truthfully if I hadn’t called and had someone bring the phone to her they wouldn’t have known she was screaming!! Was she screaming all night no one knows are there notes on when someone last saw her no! Two days before this I had asked for a nurse or a doctor they told me there wasn’t a nurse in there is only a nurse that comes in once a week and no doctor your doctor has to come in even though they excepted my mother in her condition which she was very sick with health issues which now I realize they couldn’t handle. They are grossly under staffed and god knows what is happening to other residents there. When they couldn’t get me a nurse or dr I should have had and ambulance come then but unfortunately I didn’t but I feel they should have had a dr come in to monitor her and check her out or call and ambulance themselves but no they didn’t. I had to be the one even though I couldn’t see my mother I heard her and had her sent to the hospital but too late she was dying by then and when I saw her she couldn’t even talk she went from walking into this facility on Friday and dead on Thursday and if I didn’t call I would know nothing about her condition not one phone call to me and they knew to call me. The anguish I felt for my poor mother was horrifying it was as I said a bad nightmare that I felt somewhat responsible for for putting her in this so called beautiful facility well don’t go by the outside that looks so nice and the reviews that look so nice this place is understaffed and not able to handle very much health problems with patients so don’t plan on them taking care of your Mom or Grandmother or who ever they are unable to and truly I don’t feel they care about the patient once they are In the facility. Don’t I’m saying it again Don’t trust your loved one to this facility 💔

My friend has an apartment at Woodlands of Waterville. It’s a lovely little apartment. We have eaten there, and the food is fine. They have a nice selection of their food. This facility is probably one of the nicest ones here. My friend seems very happy there.
