My husband was at Sun City Senior Living. It was a great place. They were great. They came to my home and did an assessment of my husband and saw us together. I brought him there, and they took really good care of him. It's a small community, and that's what I liked about it. When I went there, they made me feel at home like this was my home, too, and not just his home. You get to know the people that are there and they're like, 'Hi, Miss Nancy.' It's just it was a wonderful place. I would highly recommend it. The food was very good. I had dinner with my husband one night there, and it was very good. It was freshly made every day. They had a chef there that cooked all their meals. They had a lot of activities. They had like happy hour. They weren't drinking, but they would have like a happy hour with a guy who played music like a saxophone. They had bingo, and they had therapy there. They have a lot for their patients there. The place was beautiful. It was clean, neat, and organized. They have places where people could go outside and sit like in an atrium, or they could go out on the front porch, and they had chairs out there and a water fountain. It was a nice place.

I liked everything about Sun City Senior Living. They had an area where people could gather and extra activities that they brought in, like picnics and donuts at different times. I liked that. I thought that was great. Jennifer was fabulous. I liked her a lot. They had a barber shop, a little area where they could do some basic exercise, and another room where they gathered the people together to have them fold clothes. To me, that was nice, because these are the little things that help them. Then they have the outside where people can go. All that was very nice.

Sun City Senior Living was well-kept. We walked around with one of the associates, who showed us what a typical room would look like and the area. We didn't have any concerns. It was a very nice place. It was one of the top ones that we were going to have my mother-in-law transferred from the rehab place. It was impressive. They gave us all the information. They gave us some recommendations about how to rearrange our insurance to help pay for the room and all the stuff, so they're very helpful. There was a little waiting area, and there were some people outside when we first walked in. It's a good place for my mother-in-law to go. It's like living at home.

I loved Sun City Senior Living. It was affordable, but it didn't work out. They're personable. They have therapy that's upstairs and they were great. And then that whole room on the other side has bingo, card games and they were always keeping them busy. It was a very nice facility. The apartments were beautiful, they have a one-bedroom, studio, and a shared room, and they were very nice. When you walk in, you walk up to the front doors. There was a young girl there to greet you hello, and my father loved that. There's a woman there that's very much into the activities, and she was just so personable. She was very, very good. The building was new and beautiful. They do laundry service, and beauty shop-type care.

I went to Sun City Senior Living. The gentleman Don was the tour guide person. He was very knowledgeable, very helpful, and took us around. It smelled clean. One of my first impressions was that it smelled awesome. The staff was extremely friendly. The only downside was just the size of the rooms. But the rooms were clean and beautiful. I loved the décor and the services that were offered. It's just that for my mom, who has like six rooms to go down to two rooms (even if we got her the largest room available), I don't know if she could do that. The menu looked very good, but we didn't eat there. It wasn't during that time that they were serving food. With regards to facilities, they offered everything that my mom has where she's at, which was important. They had a workout room. When we were there, they were playing bingo. They had a hair salon. They offer rides, so that if my mom needed a doctor's appointment or something like that, then they could do that as well.

We went to tour Sun City Senior Living. We had two gentlemen that gave us the tour, and they were very nice. We saw some of the rooms that were available for people coming into the facility, and they were beautiful. It was very clean. The people seemed happy. There were some people in the dining area eating, and it just seemed nice. There was a kitchen set-up in the room, and I think there was a microwave and a little fridge. They have an outdoor area. The tour was excellent. Those people really gave us a nice tour. They were really knowledgeable and very pleasant. They spent time with us. It was a beautiful facility.

I saw Sun City Senior Living. The tour was OK. I've had no issues with it. However, they weren't furnished, and it's in Hillsborough County, and we wanted to move my mom to Pinellas County. The gentleman was fine. He answered all my questions and was upfront with everything. We only looked at like one room, and it was the basic room they had there. They have a salon and an area where they do activities and stuff like that. I just looked at their memory care. The guy was good.

Sun City Senior Living seemed appropriate, it's a care facility. It was clean and sanitary. They only have studio apartments or studio rooms available. There was no 1-bedroom or whatever. There wasn't any kind of larger living area or single living area. It was all just a bedroom with a bed and a bathroom. Everything else was done outside of that so that kind of didn't turn me on. The person who assisted me was Don and he was knowledgeable. He wasn't pushy or whatever so he was okay. There were daily activities they offered so it was good. They have lots of it.

My dad moved in to Sun City Senior Living. It is a caring and well-managed place. The community is pleasant. The staff is also dedicated and not a lot of turnover. It's important to me that these people have been there a while. They seem good so far. They have bingo, music, a library, and they play seated soccer.

My aunt is in Sun City Senior Living. It appears to be a good place. When my cousin comes to visit me, he calls my aunt, so we can FaceTime. The staff comes in, and they're very accommodating and gentle as far as saying, "OK, your time is up, you gotta go." I'm very impressed with it. They have a special room that he can meet her with. She seems to be eating well. She likes the fact that it's all cooked for her, and all the problems of preparing a meal are out of her hands now. She started off with one room and moved to another. She really liked the room she was in because it was by the dining room and people would stop by and talk to her. They moved her again, and I don't know how happy she is now.

We have been thru several ALF, but this one is far beyond our expectations. Our mother is thriving, she was going down hill so quickly, but when she entered Sun City, she was able to play bingo, walk, and enjoy the other residents company! The staff has gone over and beyond with no matter what is ask of them! We had such a good time fixing her room and making it special for her! She now calls this her home!! She is looking forward to the trips to the casiano when they are able to start again! Thank You Healthcare providers of Sun City for bring her back to life!!

My father has moved into Sun City Senior Living. My dad really likes it there. He is very comfortable. He is a very shy person, but he has just started to open up there and be himself. All the nurses are very helpful, and the other people are very helpful, too. They're always checking on him. I couldn't ask for a better place. He has a studio. They have a variety of rooms that goes up to two-bedrooms, and they also have studio rooms and even shared rooms. They have trivia, and people come in and play music. They have transportation to doctors' offices, and they have a lot of doctors that come in there for services like that. A nurse practitioner comes in there often. They have a salon where you make appointments. They have a library and a nice patio area that we like to take advantage of. They also have a room where you can bring family and eat dinner there. They have an exercise room and an activity director. They have activities all the time. My dad says their chef is really good. Their food is also good.

The Dementia/Alzheimer's wing was lacking in staff to resident ratio. Thankfully the Hospice nurse kept an eye out for my Mom. Last year there was always a turnover in directors, accountants and staff. Maintenance was lacking. The one time I asked for transportation to take her to doctor they failed to arrange it. She had a missed diagnosed rash for 4 months which was only properly diagnosed once we moved her to a different facility. It was Scabies. The staff did not seem trained in how to take care of Alzheimer's people. Rooms were fine and the Activities Director did her best to engage the residents. The rest of the Assisted Living part seemed to be run much better but I don't recommend it for Alzheimer's people.

I walked up to the building and the residents were on the front porch with nice light music and a young lady passing out lemonade. Inside, there were happy smiling residents, staff every where and interacting with the residents. I had lunch that day with my friend and the food was fantastic. The new Executive Dir. introduced herself, and she was very kind and personable. I over heard a resident telling her, that she was doing a good job and they could see the difference. I don't really take the time to write a review, but I just had to share my experience with Sun City Senior Living. My friend has been there for over 3 years, and is just as happy as can be. Great Place...

Pacifica Senior Living Sun City was very nice. What I didn’t like was the small size of the microwave and the refrigerator that they had. You couldn’t really fit a lot in. As for the microwave, I would say about the only thing you could do is put a small container or a cup in there to heat stuff up. It was really tiny. It was the only place where I did see a lot of activity. They had a very active group in crafts. The residents all seemed congenial. It’s a really nice atmosphere.

A family member is currently at Pacifica Senior Living Sun City. What I like about it is that they have a lot of open areas where people could go outside and get cool breezes to breath fresh air. The comfort of their gathering areas inside was exceptional. Their meals were good. The staff is very good as well. They do different activities, like playing bingo every day, art classes, jigsaw puzzles, and a lot of entertainers who come in to entertain the residents.

The staff of Pacifica Senior Living was very caring. It was expensive, though, so I couldn’t afford it. The community was extremely nice. The people were nice, ready to show me around, and extremely helpful. They have been telling me what has been going on. They showed me the spotless dining room where they serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner. They had pet therapy, brain games, arts and crafts, bingo, and a walking club. They had everything, so that was very nice.

It was a very rushed situation. We had to do something quickly, so we found Pacifica in Sun City. I’m not sure if it’s the final place, but it’s where my mother is right now, and they’ve been very good and helpful. Initially, when I was in a bind to find someplace, I went to them and they reached out and helped me through a not-so-pleasant process of getting her from the hospital into a facility, so they have been very helpful. It’s very nice and it looks freshly remodeled. The surroundings are nice, and they have courtyards. My mother is in memory care, so it’s just a studio, but it’s roomy, adequate, and nice. They have quite a few activities. On Sundays, they have one or two worship possibilities, and entertainers, singers, and exercises for the seniors. I think they have a truly well-rounded program.

Thank you for your positive review! We are very proud of our community and the exceptional level of care we provide. We do have a great staff and we are glad that we were able to be with you through the difficult transition with your mother. We are here to help and know how difficult the process can be. Please feel free to reach out to us with any and all questions. By the way, did you know that we have a Facebook page with pictures of the interesting activities our residents are engaged in? (The link to the Facebook page is on our website). It is a nice way for families to be involved daily and see what their loved ones are up to here!

I went to Sun City Senior Living (Pacifica Senior Living Sun City). They gave me the walk through and some materials to look because that was my first walk through to get an idea of the costs of things around and to see what the best facility would be for my dad. The rooms were very nice and had various types. I was able to see everything in the facility including the common areas, the recreation areas and things like that. I saw their activities calendar and it looked like they had something almost every day, like arts and arts and things like that. With the holiday season coming up, they were all centered on Christmas. The dining area looked clean. I liked that it was not a huge place, but it had all the essential care available that my father could need. Unfortunately, he did not live long enough to do it.

I visited this facility today with my husband. We are looking to place my Mom in an assisted living facility. I was amazed at how comfortable the entire living facility is and how the residence are all so happy. When you open the door to go in its like a ray of sunshine so clean and spacious and well lite, everyone seemed so happy. I realize you can't please everyone but I really don't know what else could be done to try to please all. I did not see one resident that appeared unhappy. The smell of the facility is awesome. No bad odors at all. To me this is another important point no one wants to stay where there is a nasty odor. So far this is the place for my Mom working out the details will take a little time but getting her into this facility will be such a relief for our family. People all assisted living and memory care is expensive and I find this one to be right in line with all the others I have looked into. By the way Donna the director is so sweet and helpful nothing bad to say about her. I watched her greet residents as she was giving us the tour never missing one. Just a quick hello how are you doing sort of thing she didn't have to do that as she was giving us a tour but she cares so much for these people and it shows.

From the moment I walked in the door with my mom and my husband, I was impressed! There was an "at home" feeling, along with seeing residents sitting out on the front porch, and in the main entry to the building. We were taken on a tour of the community, and introduced to the director of the community, nursing and even the maintenance manager. One thing that my husband and I were impressed with was we were encouraged to sit and talk to the current residents, and the feedback we got was what we needed to hear. You can't make everyone happy, but the large majority of them loved living here. Even one resident came back from another location in Sun City because she loved it here and felt it was her home. We placed mom here, and I couldn't be happier with the choice. Coming from a medical family background, I'm quite happy that we get contacted on a regular basis about anything that might come up with mom and her medical care. I'm there several times a week, and her room and bathroom are always clean, and I have to admit, I will join mom for meals now and then, and have been quite impressed. She's been there for quite some time now, and I'm still just as happy as I was back when we first brought her here. The only thing I would recommend as a change, is some of the happy hour entertainment on Friday's needs to go (get better groups). They had a great group there this past Friday, and it was fun to see the residents up and dancing! No matter what my viewpoint, the residents seem to love their happy hour time, and I never see less than 30 people there. I'd like to commend the staff for making this feel like home to my mom!

The rooms at Sun City looked very clean and very livable. They would go to Walmart, they go out to eat, and if you are able, they have everything like you can go to baseball games and stuff. They did offer, but we didn't eat there, and they showed us the menu. It was a good menu, and I think they had ehat was going to be served up for either three days or five days.

I placed my mother here in Feb. and moved her out in March. I wish I had checkd the reviews before We paid out all of the money for two months and Pacifica is still taking. The staff is very lazy and will help if someone is watching. Her room was not clean and the bathroom was worse. I was told if I wanted extra cleaning like taking the trash out , changing the sheets were could pay extra. I find she was given incorrect medication which was confirmed by her doctor. Anyone wanting to find a place safe and clean for a loved one DON.'T place them in this facility.

Sun City had individual houses and they had apartment buildings, but they were very spread out. We didn't go to the assisted living and the hospital. However, one of my friends had stayed in both of them, and she received superior care. We toured everything, and they were very nice. The houses were spacious. They had two bedrooms with a den, a living room, a dining room, and a kitchen, plus your own garage. It is very nice and well-kept.

Has excellent program for people to try out assisted living. I was helping a neighbor help his newly widowed father.

It was nice. They had a swimming pool. The staff was fine but for us Sun City was too crowded. I would recommend them to others.

My mother moved into the facility in December, since that time I have noticed a decline in the caring nature of the employees. There seems to be a problem ordering the proper amount of food for the residents. Such as, running out of orange juice, milk and jelly all in one day! I understand this once in awhile but it seems there are issues daily with "we don't have any" Mother needed ice for a bruise on her arm and was told the kitchen was closed and couldn't get any for her......really? How about applesauce for her to take her medications so she doesn't choke.....sorry, we don't have any. The elderly are picky eaters but one (1) chicken wing on a plate does not constitute a meal, there was nothing else on the plate. Really....for what it cost to live there I expect better. We were not told upon moving her in that she would only get two (2) showers per week, unless we paid for more.....really? How many of us are satisfied with 2 showers a week? I keep hoping for some good things to happen soon.
