My husband loves it there at The Grove Health & Rehabilitation Center. The staff was very friendly, and the food was better than at his other rehab center. And he could get coffee whenever he wanted it. He stayed there for about two weeks, and the care was very good. It was great, he had a roommate who got along with him well. If I had to choose a rehab again, I would say go to The Grove. The staff was nice and the place was spotless. It was a very nice facility. They also had all kinds of activities and they could go to church on Sundays. I had a little bit of chicken nugget, it was very good. He liked the food a lot better, and it was more accommodating. So if you want a snack at night, they were able to go and get it for him so that was probably the best facility for us.

The staff was very caring but the administration is suspect. The place is poorly run and very inconsistent with their care and practices.. The facility is also grossly understaffed which makes everything twice as bad. The food is not edible. I have looked at their status in the state and I found one place that said that their license for 2024 has not been approved and is under review. That is very telling.

I looked at The Grove Health & Rehabilitation Center for respite care for my mom. I think it's going to be my choice. They were very friendly, very informative. My mother had been there for rehab like last year for a few days during COVID, so we didn't leave her any longer than we had to. They remembered her and that was important to me, the fact that they cared for their patients enough that they remembered them. Everyone I talked to and everyone that she told me about, have a lot of longevity in their employment. That's another important thing. The lady I was talking to had been there for 18 years. They took good care of her. They called me and they told me a couple of times that they were having problems with her, asked me if they could give her certain things and I said yes. Overall, not being able to go in and see her, I was pleased.

My mother in law fell down in a local assisted living facility. After the hospital they brought her here. She has deteriorated terribly. The rules change here day by day. They have denied my father in law access to a toilet while visiting for hours. Staff are drones and don’t think for themselves. Care has been terrible. If I could give this place zero stars I would.

My mother was in The Grove Health & Rehabilitation Center (formerly Citrus Hills Health and Rehabilitation Center). It looked beautiful, but the nursing staff was terrible. Nobody seemed to care. Her Foley bag was backing up into her and had to stand there and ask for help from three people until finally somebody changed it. It's not good. She fell, and they did not report it to me or anything. I paid to get her hair and nails done and they didn't do it in the month and a half she was there.

mother was there sept. of this yea,r when she got there they keep her toiletries and other stuff, after asking several times for it back we gave up. the nurses were angry all the time, the poor CNA did all the work I mean all of i.t food was disgusting not clean PT was uneducated to the point need another surgery now, thanks. as a whole this place is rude, not clean ,very much lacking in manners, not sure how it still open would not send a roach there. never got an answer to any question asked it was always well I don't know. when they did discharge her the keep all her meds .I hope you never have to take your loved ones here you may not get them back ...had to give it one star its the lowest one but that one is to much

The rooms were fine at Citrus Hills. My mother would have been probably put into the lockdown unit. Everything was clean, and they had a lot of activities for them. The staff was very friendly.

I have been in a couple of other facilities before but never have I been so cared for as here at citrus hills. I know that here people really care about what they do, they go out of there way to help. I would recommend this facility to anyone who needs rehab.

This facility advertises as a respite provider. I made arrangements over a month in advance for them to care for my Granddaughter (19y/o) who is totally disabled. Took a tour of the facility and was very happy with all that I saw. They got the necessary care plan from her doctor, and medication was arranged for stay. I was providing all of her supplies. Four (4) days prior to the day I was to take her in they called and cancelled out on me! No good reason was given. I had already purchased my flight tickets and all arrangements for my much needed vacation. I am very disappointed in this facility and will never consider them again and would never recommend them. If they cannot care for a disabled person for a week I would never trust them for anything long term!

Citrus Hills was nice, but they didn't have any rooms available at the time, and the staff did not seem to be quite as caring as the other places we visited. The best thing about it was that it was a new facility.

My Mom was there before she died. Hospice came in and the facility nurses and hospice nurses worked well together. it was good they allow hospice in with no questions.
