The rooms are OK, although not cleaned as well as they should be. Food is, in general, not particularly healthy and does not adhere to dietary concerns such as diabetes. My husband's blood sugar levels were very high when he was there, but have come down considerably since he is back at home. Many staff members are excellent, but some yell at residents and frequently make them wait for hours for bathroom or other needs, claiming they are too busy to respond within a certain amount of time. As such, my husband had to wear diapers when a resident there and I was told he was incontinent. He no longer wears diapers and has no more accidents. The medical care is centered on making sure residents don't fall or get hurt trying to do things for themselves, so they are encouraged to sit all day. Activities in Memory Care are very limited. All in all, it is not conducive to patients improving, but centered on maintenance care or end stages of life. In our case, we were dealing with a traumatic brain injury, and it did not suit our needs for rehabilitation or encouragement to be able to do more.

I toured Ivy Park at Studio City. We love the fact that there was a resident dog. And we love the fact that some of the rooms had private patios. The staff seemed very involved with the residents. The residents were playing some games while I was there.

I've been here. They have a very caring and patient staff. It's a very nice community and I liked the animals that are present at the facility during my visit. They have a dog and cat that live there in addition to being pet-friendly. They have a very nice dining room, nice music that they're playing on the speaker system, activities, transportation, and a beauty salon.

I went here. It felt very uplifting there and energetic. It was a positive energy that I felt. I liked it a lot. I looked at some rooms, and I believe all the floor plans were the same for assisted living and memory care, and they were very nice rooms. There was little traffic noise, but my mom would probably mind that. I like it because they had tables out the front where you could visit, and with the Coronavirus, we won't even have to go inside. They had some benches and tables and you could be outside with a mask and wave hello. You can just pull right over and visit outside with a mask on.

It is very nice, and the staff is nice. My mother's room is a dual room with 1 bathroom, 1 kitchen, and 2 different bedrooms. She likes the food, and she's very happy with the activities. They have music and singing, and she really enjoys and likes it. They've been really good with her. I liked the ambiance.

I was impressed with them, as it was very nice and convenient. They rooms were nice although not terribly large. They have a lot of opportunity for activities. The people who worked there was very friendly and hardworking. It’s very convenient. One of the nicest communities I have visited.

We visited them. The one apartment we looked at was on the first floor. It was very convenient, and it had a patio and a very spacious living area. We liked the fact that on a very regular basis, they take the residents off site to the mall, to go shopping, to Trader Joe’s or on other excursions. They take them down to the beach to look at the ocean, or they take them to a park. We think getting the residents outside is great. The food was good; they had sandwiches for lunch. They had a very pleasant server who was more like a waitress than someone who was working in a senior facility. The staff was certainly very friendly, very professional, and very attentive. They seemed to have the philosophy of taking care of the elder with respect and making sure that no one is left isolated, that the residents are kept occupied, and that their minds are kept busy. That’s very important.

My mom will move here in a couple of weeks. We chose them because they have a unit that's becoming available. The room was nice, clean and bright. We're happy with it. The dining room was very clean and it looked nice too. The staff I met seemed very friendly.
