I moved to Oakmont of Novato. It is clean and comfortable plus the people are very kind. The executive director, the vice president, the front office, the waiters and waitresses, and the people are extremely kind. I'm happy here. They serve three meals a day. The dining room is open from 7:30 up to 7:00 in the evening and you can always ask something. They have a separate room where they have like once-a-day or twice-a-day happy hour. The people can have drinks and some snacks. They have a lot of good programs here. The value for money is good but a little bit expensive. The building surrounds this garden, so we can go outdoors. There are tables and you can sit down there. There's a fountain, and the water's noise is nice. Also, they have some place where they play something like bocce, an Italian sport.

Oakmont of Novato was one of the newest so everything is nice, clean, and well laid out. They're somewhat in the process of expanding some of the areas, but they've got them set up there and all the facilities in the assisted living area are all pretty new. The living spaces were compact but pretty efficient. The people that I talked to seemed very nice and cordial. I didn't have any problem with any of the staff. They seemed good.

I went to see Oakmont of Novato. It was very nice, very modern, very clean and very new. I didn't get to interact with the staff, just with the director who took me on tour and she was very nice. The room I saw was very nice. I saw that the residents had just played a particular game but I wasn't there long enough to see any of the activities. I went to their memory care portion so the amenities are a little bit more limited. I didn't see the assisted living part of it, which I believe has all of those things. They have a patio area for the memory care people but I think they have a larger area for assisted living. I liked the director who toured me. She seemed to be very knowledgeable and very caring. I also saw the guest menu and it seemed fine.

I went to Oakmont of Novato. It was nice and clean. It's brand new. It's four-year-old, so the facility would be in a good position and the people were kind. The staff who showed me around did a great job. She was very pleasant and very informative. They have a courtyard, but no swimming pool.

Oakmont of Novato is more expensive than the other places we toured, but all their facilities were very clean, and it was very well-run. The people were very friendly and very nice. They had great activities. They didn't have the little dog park, but they had a little patio area. But it was just a lot more expensive.

I've been to Oakmont of Novato. They've got very good food and well-balanced meals. The chef there was very good. I like the setup. It's a beautiful place. It's all new and very appealing to the eye. They've got a nice patio outside. The staff was very patient and very caring. They've got tons of activities, everything from games to interactive conversations, and they take you for rides. It's just really good. They've got a big staff, and they're great. They're expensive, but they're worth it.

The Oakmont of Novato was lovely. We had an excellent tour, and the woman who gave me the tour was extremely professional and extremely knowledgeable about the care that they provided. Even though I only toured that one facility, that would be the facility where I would want my mom to go. The facility is just brand new. Everything is clean and tidy, and the menu for the food is top notch. All of the employees I came in contact with were very friendly. I was impressed. The rooms were almost at capacity. They offer shared rooms and solo rooms, but they only had one shared room left, which was not going to work for my mom at that time. They were like studios, but they don't have kitchens in them. They also have a music room with a guitar and a piano in it, and an aviary with birds, which was fantastic. The birds help those residents with dementia and anxiety. They had a bar where guests could meet with their family, and with real alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. They had two restaurants and some gardening activities. It was really impressive.
