I have a relative that is in this facility. She cut her arm somehow, no one seems to know how. The cut was very bad. No one called anyone in the family to let us know. They did not send her to the hospital to get it checked. After 2 nurses that did NOTHING, a third nurse came on to work and sent her to the hospital. It was a deep and wide wound and would have required stitches, but it was to late to get them. She is not the only one that things happen to, and it never gets reported.

Westminster was quite nice. I visited my brother-in-law in March, and it was very nice. The staff seemed to be very pleasant. They were anxious to get John accustomed to the facility because he had become fairly agitated. He felt, and I agreed with him, that it was partially because of being in unfamiliar surroundings and suffering from fairly severe dementia. That tends to be something that agitates dementia patients—being in a new location. The rooms were very nice. I thought it was in a very nice location, with good security. It's a lock-down. But they were very nice, seemed very knowledgeable, very friendly, and open to communication about John's condition and his attitude. And he's been very good since then. He has been out several times to family activities, and he has free range of the place internally, and I know he has been walking more and more. His attitude has improved. It's fairly new, so it hadn't been online very long. The food was evidently very good.
