We are so satisfied with Home Instead! They have given me peace of mind that my 88 year old mother is in good hands. Christy(client care) and Jackie(client services and scheduling) are really exceptional to work with in every way! Also, I got a good feeling from my initial phone calls with Todd and Catherine.  It is a great feeling knowing that Home Instead takes care of everything.  My mom has needed both 24 hour care and care for full days. They are such a pleasure to work with! So thankful to have them taking care of all my moms home care needs.

We are working with Home Instead. They are great and they were able to meet our needs and find us a home care provider which works for both parents. It is more so for my mom but also for my father. It worked out great. When there was a change in the schedule with the caretaker, they immediately stepped in and were able to provide someone else for us immediately. Two weeks ago we needed 4 days of care and that same caretaker is able to step in and give us four days. It is hugely beneficial due to the fact that my mother is dealing with dementia, so having only one person makes life a whole lot simpler. Our needs are immediately responded to. With my mom, they are helping her get dressed, and for my dad, they are helping him prepare morning meals, with light housekeeping and with some laundry. It is part-time, 4 days a week, which has been great.

I needed a caregiver for my mother that had moved to assisted living and awaiting dementia care. I emailed home instead I met with Catherine and Christine the next day. Catherine was very transparent on costs and that their only caveat was they needed a 24 hr cancellation notice. A caregiver was with my mom the next evening. I got routine updates on my mom’s care and concerns. And when an open spot in dementia care was available caregivers worked with her until she was settled. HomeInstead is A life saver! ❤️

I was not sure just how much help my 70 yr old husband would need, so this was a last minute arrangement. And Home Instead was a life-saver. I was able to be away for 2 weeks without an extra trip home in the middle. They were so flexible, helpful and conscientious. I felt completely comfortable having them look in on my husband every other day (mild cognitive issues). And he enjoyed their company as well. They took him out for coffee and to the grocery store. I will definitely use Home Instead again.

I interviewed several other agencies before I contracted with Home Instead to care for my mother with Alzheimer's. I choose Home Instead because it is owner operated. The owners are involved with every client and are very accessible. Every care giver we have met is top-notch. Our regular care giver Wendy is a blessing for our family. She is kind and thoughtful with my mother and finds ways to help me at home without my having to ask. I really appreciate the excellent service from the entire organization.

All the caregivers who have been assigned have been great. Also, I really appreciate that each time there is a new caregiver, someone comes to introduce her to my mother. The office staff has been great as well.

I had a girl from Home Instead Senior Care for five days who helped me with the laundry, watering outside, and doing a little bit of shopping. She did a really excellent job and was very nice. I highly recommend this agency.

Right now, I am just having in-home care from Home Instead. They do in-home visits about a couple of times a week, and it is just companionship really. They are very accommodating to my needs and my mom's needs -- very accommodating and very flexible. We are very happy with them. They explained everything upfront, and they have been very supportive.

Before, my husband needed more care than I could provide. I experienced the thoughtful, friendly staff at Home Instead office, and I felt their support and encouragement as I took steps to complete paperwork, ask questions, and be ready. The constant message was being there for us when we needed help. Eventually when help was needed, they knew my husband and provided caregivers well-matched to his personality and interests.

Home Instead found a wonderful aid for me when my husband was ill. Paul had pulmonary fibrosis. Home Instead helped us and stayed with us in the difficult journey of getting the benefits from our Long Term Care Policy. I have nothing for praise for the quality of help we got from Home Instead.

My sister was diagnosed with Pick's Disease and was living with my Mom. She loved to walk but couldn't walk alone as she would not remember how to get home. I called Home Instead to see if they could have someone walk with my sister three times a week. They were very caring with my sister and took her for long walks which she enjoyed very much. She became attached to her care givers. The staff and the owner at Home Instead in Novato, CA are excellent and very compassionate.

This in-home care agency took on my mother's case, even though she was an extremely challenging patient. They spent a great deal of time understanding our needs as a family and working with us to come up with a plan that worked. They were extremely flexible and understanding. We had to warn them ahead of time that there would be days when she would not let the caregiver inside the house, and indeed that happened and they were very patient. The caregivers were skilled and kind. The service was reasonably priced; it was more expensive than it would have been for us to hire someone independently, but we had the security of agency management and a backup caregiver was available whenever needed.
