My dad has an IRA and is terminal with cancer. I have been his 24/7 for 7 months. He wants to cash it out and pay me for being here. If he happens to end up in a facility and medicare runs out, I know he will not qualify for Medicaid. Is it illegal for him to do with the IRA, what he wishes?
