How do we handle my mom when my dad doesn't want to care for her anymore?

My dad doesn't want to care for my mom anymore. She is so angry with everything and she has been told it's Alzheimer's but she has also suffered from severe depression for years. How do we care for our mom, who wants to stay at her home but my dad is fearful of her now and doesn't want her to live with him anymore?
