My husband has Parkinson's and dementia, how can I get him to turn the finances over to me?

How do I get my husband of 47 years to turn over the finances? He gets so defiant and won't let me know anything. He keeps info hidden and locked up and always has. He is paranoid to tell me about anything. He has Parkinson's and Dementia which complicates the situation.
