When we toured Tampa Gardens Senior Living, everything was nice. The facility was very well kept. But when we went to the dining area to look at it, there was a woman there who had her face planted into a plate of food, and everybody was just walking around her and not helping her or anything. The waitstaff there was walking around her, and I didn't like that part. The apartments were okay. They were nice. They had nice sitting areas outside. It looked like the inside was well organized. It was a very nice place.

I went to Tampa Gardens Senior Living. It seems like a nice quiet place. The people there seem very friendly. The ones I met in the hallways were always pleasant, which is kind of important when I'm going to be staying in a closed area. They gave me a great tour and showed me everything that was going on there. They told me the cost or what it's going to cost if I want to move in. They have good nursing staff. They have four nurses on staff, which is kind of surprising because the other one I toured only had one. So, that was nice. The people who were giving the tour were very thorough. They showed me several different options, which is always nice. And, that's what I liked about the place. And it's a very comfortable-looking place. It almost looks like a home, like a house you move in yourself. It has pleasant surroundings, too. It's a pretty large area, a pretty large lot. So, you have plants, trees, and patios. You can have a variety of stuff to go to.

My Mom has been a resident at Tampa Gardens since 2012. Initially she lived in the Assisted Living Area. She is now living in the Memory Care Area . The staff have been great with my Mom. Rosamand gets her to do things that Mom won't to do for me. She also gets Mom to transfer from her chair to her wheelchair. She gets Mom to walk to the bathroom instead if taking the wheelchair. Mom does it happily for her. Rosamand challenges Mom and Mom trusts her. Staff are always willing to support Mom and keep her safe. They manage her medications, provide three meals a day and monitor intake. The staff also complete Moms ADL's and if there are any issues they will let me know and alert the nurse practitioner. I have been very pleased with the care and support Mom gets at Tampa Gardens.

Tampa Gardens Senior Living was very nice. The room and the layout were very nice, too. The director was very upbeat and very engaging. She loved her work, which is excellent. She knew all the residents' names that we met as we went on the tour. It was just very nice. The menus looked very good. The hallways were just very muted. There's no life in the color, but the entranceway and all that was very nice. The people were very engaging. Everybody looked happy and that's important. There was some life there because when someone's going into someplace like that, you don't want everybody to look half dead. I would have chosen that had the other facility not come up with a studio. The director was wonderful. She was very, very nice.

My friend moved to Tampa Gardens Senior Living. We chose that place because my mother was there before and because she's going to get a hip replacement, and then they have their own rehab so she could stay in the same facility. The staff is excellent. Originally, they didn't have a private room, so she was in a semi-private room, and just recently they had a private room, so we're moving into a private room tomorrow. They do a lot of activities. First thing in the morning, they get bathed and get clean clothes on to get them all fresh. Then she goes down to their dining room in the memory care and she has breakfast. After that, they have activities. So, she went from doing nothing in rehab to getting up and staying busy all day long, and she's doing wonderful. The day that we were checking her in there, it just so happened that she hadn't had lunch, and we were waiting for her room to get ready, and they brought her her lunch. Where she was at before, she was malnourished and dehydrated because the food was so terrible. They brought lunch to her in the office, and she ate everything. She loves the food and she said everybody is really nice to her. They have more aides in the memory care than they do in the assisted living. I looked at a couple other places and I wasn't as impressed as I was with the amenities at Tampa Gardens Senior Living. The facility is immaculate. She's always changed. They started toileting her because when she was in the rehab, she had fallen and broke her femur on the right side, and then she needed a hip replacement on the left side. Now, they're taking her to the restroom like every two hours and she's not reliant on adult diapers anymore. It's really good. They are excellent. They're always informing us about what's going on and how she's getting along. They keep in touch with us all the time, so it's wonderful. She's very limited to what she can do because she can't stand up on her own, but they're really good about helping her get out of a wheelchair and sitting at the dining room table in a regular chair and then getting her up. So they're making a lot of progress with her mobility, in spite of the fact that she needs a hip replacement. They're all expensive. I knew what the expense was going to be because I went through this with my mother. So, we compared their prices with other facilities, and they're all very similar.

Tampa Gardens Senior Living looked fine when we first stepped in. The grounds were well kept. We didn't have a problem with the facility at all except my wife wanted an oven and a refrigerator, not a little box. The staff was very informative, and knowledgeable, and wasn't pushing us at all. She took us to see the units that they had, the layout, and how furniture was established in each one. Their dining area was nice, too.

We visited Tampa Gardens Senior Living. They're remodeling everything, so there are a lot of rooms that have been updated, so that was nice. The dining room was nice. Their activity room was nice. It was well done, well-appointed, and updated. The dining area looked more like restaurant dining. There were tables, nice little napkins and plates, and glasses on the table. It was very well presented.

Tampa Gardens Senior Living was a very nice place, and they were in the process of renovating. The staff seemed nice. The sales director was fantastic. The menu looked delicious, but I did not try the food. The studio apartments are small, but the 1-bedroom apartments are roomier. The place was very clean, but I feel like it was a little dark in the entrance area. There was a guitar player and someone singing for the residents while I was there, and several people were sitting there enjoying the music.

Tampa Gardens Senior Living is a two-story facility. I do not like elevators and neither does my mother; that I didn't like about it. Other than that, the people were very nice. It was a very short tour. I only met two people, but they were very, very nice, very courteous, and very friendly. They had good interaction with the people that lived there. It was very nice and very clean. It was on a main street, so it was close to everything. Right next door was a little office building that had doctors in it.

The physical appearance of Tampa Gardens Senior Living was great. It was very clean. The staff was friendly. We went there at lunchtime, and they were serving dinner. The seniors were eating, and they looked like they enjoyed it. I was pleasantly surprised. It didn't have an odor to the place. They have activities depending on the level of dependency that the person needs. They gave me a list of activities on their calendar, and a lot was involved in it. The rooms were nice and very well kept up. The staff was excellent. The lady who gave us the tour was very knowledgeable, and very much involved in the activities. They were remodelling.

I visited Tampa Gardens Senior Living. It's nicely decorated, the people were very caring and everyone was so helpful. I spoke to the salesperson and then I had a question so she got somebody to help me to come along. The staff was was very helpful and knowledgeable. The facilities are very nice, the rooms are very good and they have the facilities that are needed like bathrooms and etcetera. They have lots of stuff, they also have doctors that come in, podiatrists, and different doctors that come in for different things. It's beautiful, I would go there myself if I could.

We spoke to some residents there, and they were very, very happy with the facility. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. They had a microwave. They had a lot of little garden areas.

The room is small and the carpet is filthy. The food is terrible and always served cold. The staff give no help with meals like opening the milk container, even when they were specifically asked to do it. The staff is rude. It takes hours for them to answer the call button for assistance. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

It was fantastic and looked like a resort area. I was very impressed with their facilities, and the staff members we talked to were extremely friendly and extremely helpful. It was a very good place. They took us around and showed us probably three different styles of room that would be available. We saw some people doing some activities. They explained what activities would be available, depending on my brother's level of cooperation.

It was nicer, it was what my dad chose, and he's moving next week. He got a studio, it was big, and it had with plenty of closet space. We had lunch there, the food was good, but the portions were smaller. It’s very clean, and it doesn’t smell.

I'm currently staying here. It is a very wide, open and spacious complex. The staff is excellent. From day one, they knew my name. They're always available when you call them. They serve a very good variety of food. It is very good especially their soup.
