There are several things why I chose Brookdale Creve Coeur. I looked at about 8 or 9 different ones. My granddaughter lives here, and she was helping me go through them. After going through and talking to the others about their facilities and care and all, I think pretty Brookdale Creve Coeur had the best combination of what I was looking for in terms of the facilities, the gym, the pool, the grounds, and the rooms. I'm in a small room that's bigger than a lot of the other places. The food is okay. Like most places, it's kind of like hospital food because you do not have a lot of seasoning on it. Other than that, the taste is fine, and there's a nice selection. The menu is changed every day. The staff is excellent. They keep the place clean all the time with housekeeping. If there's ever a mess, I can call them, and they take care of it right away. They do a great job.

My friend lives at Brookdale and every time I visit her I'm so impressed with the beautiful facility, the great food, the friendly and helpful staff, and the apparent happiness of all the residents I meet. They really seem to love their homes and the community!

Brookdale Creve Coeur is excellent. My mother has been living there for three years now. The place is clean. They have good food service. The people working there are friendly and courteous. They seem to know everybody by their first name and treat them like good friends. It's a very good place to go. My mom has a one-bedroom apartment. It's excellent. They do the housekeeping once every week or something like that there, and it's been fine. Activities vary. They have bingo and day trips. For people who want to go out and go shopping, they have shopping stuff like that. They have all kinds of things. Downstairs they have a patio. It's a two-level community. The staff is very good. The building is very well done, and the value for money is reasonable.

The people at Brookdale Creve Coeur were very nice, but the facilities were dated. When you go in there, it's dark. There's not enough light. It seemed like it hadn't been updated at all. It doesn't seem like a happy place. We only met one person, and she's very knowledgeable, very welcoming, and very nice. We checked the rooms and all the rooms in this area are not as big as the assisted living facility that my parents-in-law are in. Where they're currently staying, they have like 780 square feet and here it's like 500 something.

Brookdale Creve Coeur offers the finest independent living and also assisted living. My mother was in Independent living and she described it like living at a resort. She felt very well taken care of. She made friends easily and quickly and enjoyed the camaraderie that they all shared. They have plenty of activities so they have something to appeal to all. From activities taking place inside the building to wonderful and varied field trips to great locations around the St. Louis area. The Saturday evening entertainment is always a fun and uplifting experience with a variety of music to entertain the residents. The food is amazing! There are lots of choices for dinner; there is always something offered that is appealing. The brunch buffets are varied and full of wonderful and different options. The apartments are very adequate with nice floorplans. The staff is also highly caring and effective and work hard to care for all residents. I highly recommend Brookdale of Creve Coeur.

I toured Brookdale Creve Coeur. They had a lively community atmosphere and a very spacious apartment. They had the whole kitchen appliances, and you had your stove, microwave, and refrigerator. The staff was very lively and congenial. They had outdoor space. It was like a garden space for sitting, and they had a rose garden.

My sister moved into Brookdale Creve Coeur in December. We were kind of in a hurry to find a place for her at the time. So, she only visited two other places. And out of the three she saw, Brookdale was far and ahead of the others. It was a much better pick for her. The interaction that I've had with the staff there has been okay. They're doing the best they can given they've got a lot on their plate. I think that they try and don't always respond when I call them. That is a little concerning. So far I have not seen any activities, and the things they say they have, they don't measure up. For instance, the workout room they supposedly have isn't a workout room. It's just a general room that has an exercise bike and a couple of other things. The facility itself needs some upgrades. And the people that I experienced there seemed to be older and in worse shape than my sister. I think a lot of them are in assisted living, so it's not the most happy place.

I toured a place called Brookdale Creve Coeur. It's very nice. It has an outdoor space. It has a large pond with a pathway around it. It doesn't have enough outdoor space to sit. It has a nice terrace, but it's not very large. The facilities were nice, but that was my third choice. The staff who toured me was fine, too. The staff seemed to be very top-notch. I looked at the menu. It looked very nice and complete. They had a pool, recreational areas, a theater, and exercise stuff.

Brookdale Creve Coeur was a large facility, and had a lot of residents. The place was very well set up. You could walk to the grocery store. They had a place for people who liked to garden. The person who gave me the tour was excellent. She was very knowledgeable about everything that went on there. They had a Jewish service as well as a Christian service. They also had a Bible study, and then the Rabbi came in once a week and did the teaching. I loved the variety of the cultures of the people within the building. They had a pool there and a small gym. Everything was provided in the apartment. It had a standard kitchen.

I went to Brookdale Creve Coeur. It wasn't what I needed at that time. The place was fine, but I just decided that that wasn't for me. Everything was nice. They had a library. I was impressed with the library. Of course, they had the dining areas, which were nice. The staff members were very nice. I saw the room but that wasn't what I was looking for. I thought that I could do better in my home than I could in one room.

We toured Brookdale Creve Coeur. We liked the professionalism and the friendliness of the staff. The senior living apartments were very nice. It offered a wide variety of amenities, including transportation. They had a restaurant, a marketplace, a library, an indoor pool, and walking trails.

My father has been in Brookdale Creve Coeur for 12 years now. It's very clean. The staff is good. He takes 17 prescriptions a day and they always make sure they give them to him on a timely basis. He used to be in the regular part, but now he's in assisted living. I've gone to a lot of brunches with my dad and the food is very good. They have a sheet every day of ten different things you can attend or do. They got a pool there if you want to swim or do therapy in the pool. There's a whole itinerary each day. It was so expensive. When I moved him in there, it was like $3000, and now it's $5500, but there's no place any less expensive. It is what it is. They're just going with the going rate. Everything's in the apartment. They got a refrigerator, a microwave, and a stove to cook. They even have an oven. The washer and dryer are down the hall; they're not in each individual unit. They got a little bitty pond in the back and an area to sit and watch because they got ducks on the pond and then they got an area in the front of the building to just sit outside.

Brookdale Creve Coeur was clean and nice. The residents were friendly. The sales staff was very knowledgeable. The apartment was good. The only reason we didn't go there is the location because the south location is closer for me and my brothers. It's very pretty. They had transportation, they had a lot of activities, they had a beauty shop, and they had a chapel. It was kind of homey. It was a little more upper class because of the area, but it was very nice, and the residents were very friendly.

I visited Brookdale Creve Coeur. One of my sister-in-law's requirements is that she has to have assistance to transfer and they will do that, where a lot of other facilities won't. My impression of the staff was good. I have a friend that lives there, and she says the staff is excellent and the food is good. I just went in and looked at the available rooms. They showed me a studio because that's all that they have available. She wants to get a one-bedroom and they might have one open in November. The rooms were spacious. They have transportation, laundry, personal care, and a dining room. They have all the amenities.

My ex-husband was at Brookdale Creve Coeur for fourteen months. He was in the independent living section, which had lots of activities, including movies, people playing music, and game nights. Then the pandemic hit. He did not thrive because everybody was having to stay in their room. When he had his shots, we moved him to the assisted living area because he was not doing well in the independent living. Then they insisted that he must have round the clock nursing, which we thought was abusive considering that he was in assisted living. I think he was supposed to get a higher level of care. The staff members were all lovely people. They were accommodating until they insisted we get round the clock care. My daughter was not particularly impressed with the food too. I know her father complained about it from time to time. For the most part, we were very happy with them. We just didn't like the way they handled him when he started getting confused. We were paying even more for assisted living than we are right now in memory care unit, which is backwards.

I like the social aspects of Brookdale Creve Coeur. The people are out in the public areas a lot and interact with each other. They have a lot of planned activities too like exercise classes, card games, and movies. They also have lots of outings, they have an indoor swimming pool, and lots of different social areas to gather in. The food is not great though, they could improve on that. The staff is nice. My dad has a 2-bedroom apartment that's larger than anything else we saw.

We picked Brookdale Creve Coeur for my father-in-law because it was friendly and clean, the room was nice, and the pricing was in his budget. They made us feel like this is going to be a good home for him. He is actually moving in on Saturday. The employees we met were all very friendly, very professional, and helpful. They had us come for a trial lunch, and the food was delicious. Everything is beautiful, and it's a very nice place. It's clean, well groomed, and well kept. They put in new carpeting and new flooring in the room for him, and everything is painted.

I liked everything about Brookdale Creve Coeur. They're very friendly, very informative, and seemed to be on top of the COVID situation. The people there were happy. The location was good for us to be still close to family, and I liked the fact that as time progressed, if need be, my dad could still stay in the same apartment and get care. They deliver meals to the door. The staff will bring the food to you or you can come down to it. The 1-bedroom was very nice, and it's got a handicapped bathroom. There's also a studio that wasn't quite renovated, but they were doing it. Normally, they have activities, but it's limited with COVID. From what I've seen, it looked good.

My mom was in Brookdale Creve Coeur. It's a nice place, she was doing just fine, but they didn't get back with me when I asked questions and stuff. They were really big, they were really geared for residential living than assisted living; most people there have cars and they're coming and going. I think they probably have 800 rooms, it's a huge place, it's very active, and if you can take care of yourself, it's a great place to hang out, but my mom needed a little more help. They finally moved her to assisted living and then COVID hit, and then they locked her up. I just didn't have much connection with the staff, they weren't really used to handling her there. They were like a hotel. It was a bit expensive, but it was very nice, and I think the food was good there.

Powdered eggs in paper bag meals don't sound very appetizing as my friend there has told me. Also not much of a value for the amount you pay for there. Just now (Oct.) have a tent in parking lot for visits with the residents there - other places had a room in place for visits months ago. Employees and facility are mostly fine. Haven't managed that well during covid, no surprise, but other places seem to be doing better.

My mother-in-law is in Brookdale Creve Coeur. There is always someone at the front desk, always courteous, always very happy, and helpful. A lot of times, there's a gathering for people going out on some sort of activity and there's someone at the piano playing in the background. There are groups sitting around talking to each other. The rooms are great. We've had to call maintenance and they got there so quickly. They have a call button to push for the residents every morning and if they don't and they do not see them at breakfast, they come up.

I went to Brookdale Creve Coeur. The tour was fine, but it was really expensive, and so I wouldnt have been able to afford them. It looked really well, the lunch was okay, and they have everything from a 1-bedroom to I think, a 3-bedrooms. The one I looked at was a 2-bedroom, with a full-kitchen, and I think its the most expensive place I went to.

I didn't like Brookdale Creve Coeur as much, but it was large. They have a lot of activities, it had a lovely entrance room, and it was like a hotel. I met people that lived there, and the staff was excellent. I remember they had long halls, and if you're at one end away from the elevator, it was a pretty good walk. I think I saw a 1-bedroom and a studio.

The lady that we had the interview with at Brookdale Creve Coeur was nice. She sat and talked to us while we ate dinner, and several of the residents stopped by and said hi. We didn't care for the food, it wasn't a quality dinner at all. The place wasn't that clean, and the carpeting in a lot of areas was pretty soiled. The average age of the clientele is about 75 and we're at 55-65.

Brookdale had pretty good care and a swimming pool. It had more home-style living. If you could not live in your home, then that could be considered as the next best thing. The rooms and apartments were nice. They had different rooms with different prices available, though all of them were reasonably priced and meals were included. They had a large selection of food on their menu and a large walking ground. They had van service to and from different stores and outings.

Brookdale Creve Coeur had one-bedrooms, two-bedrooms, and studios. They had a variety of dining rooms, therapy room, and a swimming pool. It was all-inclusive, so the cost was more transparent.

The rooms looked very nice, clean, and spacious. Brookdale Creve Coeur was high on the choice list, but they just don’t have what we need. The staff was very good and friendly, and we had a nice tour. When I was there, there were some people playing games, swimming, and doing various activities. The dining area was beautiful.

Brookdale Creve Coeur was a brand-new facility. I think they've only been there for a year or so, so it's very clean and updated. They were very nice, but it was out of our price range. I explained that to the lady, but she was helpful and gave us the tour anyway. Everything was very nice, well kept, and brand new. The rooms were small. It is much pricier than most of the other places, so you're getting what you paid for.
