Bio

Hi! I'm Lisa, and I am a moderator for Caring.com. I live in Louisiana (yep, we're Katrina survivors!!) with my husband and two sons, currently ages 5 and 9.

 

I work at home for two wonderful websites- Caring.com and BabyCenter.com. I am HUGE believer in online communities and the kind of support people can receive from them. My personal caregiving experience comes from having my mom live with us for about 15 months. Both of my parents are also recovering alcoholics so look for me in our " Addiction Support" group.

 

My main hobbies are watching reality TV shows and pro football ( Go Saints!!! ). I also love anything with roses on it and orange kittens- I have one in my lap right now :) His name is Trooper and keeps us laughing with his daily antics. Dh and I are also huge music fans and one of our favorite dates is our annual visit to the New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival.

 

I am SO excited to be a part of Caring.com's community and cannot wait to welcome and further get to know everyone here !!
